But dude, it's Wes Borland! Wes-Freaking-Borland!
-
Ha ha yeah, Suplex, not Supplex it would seem. Looks a bit weird with only one P though...

Shoot them in the shins, they go down quicker. You can also supplex them when they're down which is pretty hardcore

I remember EWJ 1 being awesome on my PC back in the day. Number 2 had its problems and three just annoyed me. Again though, I can't really remember why...
And that's my worthwhile contribution to this thread...

Whatever I do I can't seem to go back to page 1. Is that supposed to happen?
-
Well that's certainly not me. That's the best I could cobble together using my music degree...

"Hey, kids -- welcome to 'Mickey Mouse Economics*' with me, Wrestlevania!"US game and instruments = $190 (inc. 10% tax) = ~£100 (ex. VAT)
US game only (derived EU %) = ~$58 (inc. 10% tax) = ~£30 (ex. VAT)
EU instruments only = £130 - 17.5% = ~£111 (11% markup)
EU game only = £50 - 17.5% = ~£43 (43% markup)
Don't forget though that you can only get the EU version as two seperate things, not as a bundle so unless there really is a price retraction it's more like...
US game and instruments = $190 (inc. 10% tax) = ~£100 (ex. VAT)
EU game and instruments = £180 -17.5% = ~£149
Not much difference but it makes it a 49% markup overall

I just got it (everywhere's been sold out the last few days. Only managed to get it because I walked into HMV while they were getting a delivery). Took me about three Grand Prix (Prixs?) to get used to the wheel instead of trying to just spam to D Pad but now I love it. Every course I've tried so far is excellent too. Can't wait to crack out the other controllers for some kart-on-kart action.
And yeah, the Mii thing bugs me too

So it seems the Freeloader came out a little while ago. Anyone got it?

Telltale Games have announced they're making episodic Homestar Runner games for Wiiware!
Every fanboys dream? Maybe. Every fanboy's nightmare? Quite probably. They seemed to have picked a good developer for it though

This almost seems like the appropriate time for this...

Just getting back to the Zack & Wiki thing (which seems to be spelt different in every region, anyone else notice that?), yeah it gets pretty frustrating but all the levels in the castle are incredible. I'd say it's well worth some of the more annoying bits before it

My home town is "protected" by a massive cliff so that blocks out all the snow and all that. Today though it proper snowed! I don't think it has in about... 12 years.
I remember last time it snowed was the day I got the Beano with the Bash Street Kids on the front instead of Dennis the Menace

I've been too busy with uni work and house hunting which means any free time I've had hasn't really been taken up by games.
Having said that though at the end of the week I'm back home for 4 weeks of mind-numbing, soul-crushing, depressingly lonely boredom so I imagine I will be bantering more then
-
I'm in the middle of looking for a house to rent at the moment and a little while ago I decided not to shave until it was sorted as motivation to get it sorted as quickly as possible.
I sign the contracts next week so we'll see how bad it looks then
-
After all of that I was kinda hoping someone would make a speech...
Happy birthday

There are lists less comprehensive than this?
DEAR GOD!

"Following yesterday's news that a port of Biohazard 0 would be stumbling its way onto Wii, Capcom has noted that the game will likely never see the light of day outside of Japan.
Head-scratching ensued when Famitsu revealed that a remake of the underwhelming 2002 GameCube title was coming to Wii this summer. However, a Capcom Europe spokesperson today stated that, "We currently have no plans to bring the Wii version of Resident Evil 0 [...] to either US or Europe at this point in time. It will most likely be a Japan-only release."
Anyone saddened by the news would be advised to wipe away the tears and point their web browser in the direction of eBay, where copies of the Wii-compatible original are going for under five pounds." -- IGN
Ahh well. It was fun while it lasted

Wasn't RE4 pitched at a reduced price? I don't really remember
-
I never played the original so this is good news for me. Plus I bought the RE Gamecube remake for £4.99 today. What a bargain

Is Wrestle showing his true feelings to Thunderpeel? I can't be the only one who noticed the sexual tension
-
Why not? You know where I can find her?

I feel like a celebrity

I just realised I never actually said it
