So, in essence, this game is a catheter...In essence, this game is a catheter - IGN.com

Surely once you do it warranty is void anyway

Cor, look at those naked circuits...

I think it's used in games more because they're definitely "of the time". While people are still making music which could be found in an decade from 1500 to now, fashion and games are much more defined by the time they came from.
In both worlds of games and fashion no one ever makes pieces which could simply slip into other decades or even years, they make pieces which are reminiscent or influenced by those times. People aren't making paisley bellbottoms anymore than they're making true 16-bit sprite games from the early 90s. As a result the "retro" designs become dated.
The only music I can think of which is mostly seen as dated is that of the 80s, the whole synth pop sound which was a result of cheap synthesizers and all that. This is seen as dated because it is made on or using "retro" technology. Most, if not all, other music is largely interchangable in time from the moment they are produced to the present.

For all of you who like itemising stuff create a profile here:I've been using it for a while and it helps me force myself to complete stuff.
I approve of their Now Playing sig thing V

Ahh I only have experience with the Wii version, the celestral brush techniques were pretty much made for the Wii. I assume it works pretty well on the PS2 since that came first but at the end of the day it's Zelda with leveling up and that's a wonderful, wonderful thing
-
Okami is a fantastic game in every way. Do you have the Wii version or the PS2 one?
-
If they introduce a proper VC on there then I'll DEFINITELY be buying this. The thought of being able to play Metroid II and whatever else on it is enough to give Nintendo all of my money right now.
Surely this is pretty much a given eventually though, right? With the new SD card support, ease of transfer and phenomenal success of the VC on the Wii, it's surely in Nintendo's best interests to do this.

Did you buy anything from the DSi shop yet or are you holding out for some kind of Virtual Console magic?
Is that kind of thing happening by the way, a portable VC library? Or is it just WiiWare type stuff? I kind of lost track about the whole thing

About a year ago the calibration on my original DS went way out of alignment with very little in the way of getting it back on track. Because of this some games are near impossible to play and I'd been thinking about getting a Lite for sometime. When I get some money and when they decide to release it inlime green () I'll probably pick one up.

It's pretty much all I've ever known. I never try and do accents or had any other reason to question it. It is a bit weird though. Maybe I just assumed I was normal...
-
Oh definitely. I just said it aloud and was a little shocked to hear myself say "pizza rand". But I think you kind of need a buffer there because the two words begin and end with the same sound so it flows instead of involving some kind of weird stop.
I'm very much from the south of England. Do the north have this illusive R too?

I guess if you don't think too much about it you can churn your luck around

You'll have to limburger up those brain muscles

It's fine, you can be as stubborn as you want. Claim to be done with it and play it in secret when you're all alone, with the curtains closed. Just make sure you let us know when it's completed

Oh totally. All of those "quotes" from the IGN thread DEFINITELY apply to this ending

5 days
Alternatively just throw it away, I just like to think I have some kind of prediction power

I'll give you about 5 days...

Ahh ok. Patches and DLC seem pretty important to me and demos will be a great advantage. I guess I'll plump for the 60GB one then. Cheers!
-
I just downloaded and played through the demo for Bioshock. It sort of ran on my computer but I got the idea so long as the idea was to show me that I'm missing out hard on some great games.
I've been meaning to buy a 360 for a while but I don't get why there are so many different versions. Right now in England there's the Arcade version, the 60GB version and the Elite version. The only difference which seems important to me is the included storage but I have no idea why I should care. If I'm just buying it to play games do I really need the HDD inside it?
The £120 price tag for the Arcade version sounds incredibly tempting and I could probably get it cheaper if I went pre-owned. Is there an added danger to this which them all breaking or will Microsoft take care of it anyway with the pre-owned receipt (say, from Gamestation)?

I most certainly did, including the Fierce Deity's Mask at the end which made the last boss laughably easy. A little strange really considering I struggled so much to kill that stupid fish some time before.
In fact the only things I missed out on were a few heart pieces (I think I ended it with 11/20 heart containers; I really can't be bothered with perfect scores in archery and things like that) and the Great Fairy Sword but that was more of a "oh, I'll get that later" that never actually occured.

Majora's Mask. It took me 18 months (!) and the very close guidance of a guide to complete but I did it! I finally saved the world.

Why bother buying a Zelda/Mario game?
