I saw it in Asda yesterday for the obscure price of £28.71 so I bought it and canceled my Amazon order. I just tested it since I don't really want to start it before i go to Uni but so far so good...

Oh I have about a babillion non-fictitious things to say about it...

I just pre-ordered Super Paper Mario off Amazon and it's going to be great so shut up. I'm finally going to Uni (some years late) in about 2 weeks so I need something to do during the day. Also, I only have 1 game for my Wii that isn't either Wii Sports or Wii Play...

I still want it and I'm still gonna get it but yeah I agree, my enthusiasm has definitely gone down for it. We really need some non-"European" people in this thread

Today I finally completed Ocarina of Time. I used my very last bit of magic to deliver the final blow and then sat there, somewhat satisfied, watching the end credits roll up for about 15 minutes. The natural progression is, of course, finding and buying Majora's Mask but I've heard some very mixed reviews about it. Some saying it's better which makes me want to go out and get it straight away, and some say it just isn't very good which make me wary. So what should I do? What are your opinions of it? Also I'm thrown into doubt by the fact that I'm going away in April so I wouldn't be getting it until about May at which point I intend to buy a Wii, but I don't suppose anyone knows if or when it was appear on the VC, right?

Ok so I looked up some stuff in guides and that about how to get certain masks to make things easier and, now that they've kind of taken the edge off and I'm approaching the second dungeon, I love it! It's like everything I loved about Ocarina is incorporated in this game with a whole load of awesomeness piled on top. It's lovely

I never got the Pink Eye thing though. I've never had conjunctivitis but I always thought the result was more yellow than pink... Or am I thinking of something else?

I just want to say for the record, after playing Twilight Princess I hate controlling Link with just buttons. It's so unnatural.

Ok so I finally got the Zelda Collector's Edition for GC to play on my Wii and immediately started on Majora's Mask. Although I'm not really that far into it (I've done the initial stuff in Clocktown and am now trying to figure out what to do in the swamp) I've got to say my first impressions are "meh". I had to restart it three times just because I wanted to stop playing before I even had the option to save which was frustrating enough. I want to keep battling through it but is there a certain point where the game gets better so I can look forward to it?

The music is pretty gay. I never played the first one either but it interests me. I may pick it up if my wishlist ever goes down after its release

Yep, an apparently reworked version of Manhunt 2 has scored an M classification and is coming to America for Halloween. Predictably, no word on a European release but, you know, maybe. Also, nothing's been said about any cuts or changes to the game but I guess some of this is news, right?

And, Freud would say, less violence on the streets through wish fulfillment in video games. That theory is highly debatable though

No official word but The Netherlands could get the original version. Really though, I don't think they should split the versions between countries. In my mind they should just make one version for the entire console-playing world. If the unedited version does come out though with English speech/text in it then I will definitely be importing it when the time comes.

The main feature of Metroid Prime, the first one at least, is the emphasis on back-tracking. I know that sounds terrible when it's written down but it really is a great thing in practice. You travel a fairway through the game, past branches and corridors you can't get to yet and then, when you forget they were there in the firs place, you can go back and explore more of the depth of that initial place. I'm probably not really doing a great deal in explaining it right now but that's pretty much why it's got so much acclaim. Right now I would link to Gametrailer's recently-concluded Metroid Retrospective but their site seems to be down.

Capcom released a trailer for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles the other day and I've got to say, it's got me really excited about the game. I sure there are many people who are more in tune with the RE series than me and are probably very skeptical about it all but I really can't wait to start playing Co-op mode in my front room. It also looks pretty too
