And a trailer too

Wii to receive original downloadable games. Check it out
-
Also I'm not sure how old it is but the first title for WiiWare is apparently a "Puzzle Shooter Game

Ta da! It's a pretty interesting read, especially about the drums. I'm a little reluctant about things being too big as I wouldn't really have anywhere to put them or anything. The whole idea sounds a bit... ludicrous as well. I'm not convinced it will work as well as Guitar Hero but then I was wrong about that too.

I wish to remain neutral just so I can be awkward

A big part of me is telling me not to get involved in this Another part of me though is saying Grim Fandango

EDGE names Ocarina of Time 'greatest game ever'

Twilight Princess was better -
Just tip-toeing (a word which Firefox assures me is spelt correctly) back to the "New games on Wii" issue, this could be pretty good news. So it's only a rumour and I don't know too much about the first Katamari but if it actually happens it could spell good things for the future of Wii.

5% of people think Sony are cooler than The Fonze - even if he was driving the car from Knight Rider with Teen Wolf in the passenger seat? Man, what's up with them? On the other hand though, what a great game that would make...

So the second GTA IV trailer was released the other day and since no one's talking about it maybe i should get the ball rolling. It might be just me but this trailer all seems a bit... underwhelming.l Don't get me wrong, I loved the first trailer; it all looked pretty spectacular and there seemed to be so much potential in it. This new trailer however, just doesn't look as great as I expected it to by this point. I like how it looks like the story might be going a little deeper than previous one and will perhaps be a bit more 3D (if you get me) but all in all it seems a little too "same old". I realise it's only a trailer but, like I saw, the first trailer was pretty special in my opinion. Anyone else?

Ok all I seem to be able to find are people raving about how great the touch screen controls are so it's possible I made all that up
-
Well, bearing in mind that I really might've been wrong in the first place, I'm pretty sure most things like bringing the map up and that can be done with button presses. As for the combat though, I don't know... I'll try and out.

I imagine the "Nintendo Seal of Quality", or whatever it may be called, will play a part in WiiWare games at least just to authorise them
-
As for me though, as I never played the original version, I will be ordering it some time very, very soon
-
Yeah I think I read you have the option. Of course I can't find that now though...
-
With numbers like those I'm sure we'll be seeing some solid original games
-
In other Wii-centric news, the console seems to be getting a hell of a lot more support from Namco, Sega and Capcom.
-
That is so gonna have to be an import for me

IGN has a fairly good article up about how classifications and censorship works which fits in quite well with this topic

I'm preparing myself to buy a Wii so I have a small question to ask. I'm going to use it to play Wii games, Gamecube games and Virtual Console games pretty much equally at least at first but I don't know which controller is best to get for it: the Gamecube controller or the "Classic Controller". Anyone had any problems or advantages which either one?
-
Ahh well, they can't be too much, right? Thanks anyway!
-
I thought I'd post this question here as opposed to creating a new topic about it... I'm just about ready to delve into the Gamecube side of the Wii and am gathering together all the stuff I need for it but I'm wondering: Do I need to buy a memory card or does it same the games on the Wii's internal memory? I'm guessing I do need a card due to the fact that any internal memory will be switched off as soon as I enter the GC game but I thought I'd ask before I spent more money than I have to.

Yeah see, that's where I was getting confused. While I understand that it would be more than a little pointless to release two versions of the game with the delay and all that, just because they don't want to release it with the American AO rating surely doesn't mean everyone suffers. But I guess it does
-
Pretty lame. I heard that was the case in America but, surprise surprise, no one ever mentions Europe...
-
So what is actually happening with this game? Is it condemned and delayed worldwide because of America's AO rating or is it still getting a release in Europe?
