  1. Sam and Max episode 3

I really enjoyed this episode. It didn't bother me that there weren't tons of new environments because I keep reminding myself that this is only a portion of the game. And in every adventure game you send up retracing your steps. When the whole things is released, there will be a huge total of locations. So what if there wasn't in one episode? I felt like Max was finally put to some great use in this episode. In the other two, he felt like he was just tagging along, not really offering much help or even that much humor. But this time, his jokes were spot on and I loved getting to involve him more in dialogue and puzzles. It felt like the whole thing is really hitting its stride and the plot is starting to thicken. And the McGruff reference was hilarious.
  2. Damn you Cindi Lauper

We were cursing her name at work for a couple of days too, as we all tried to make it past that in Rayman Rabbids (we're not all gifted with rhythm).
  3. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Yes, you can stop the wiimote from emitting sound. When you click the home button (I think, either that or it's in Wii settings) a menu opens up that lets you go back to the main Wii menu, and an image of the wiimote pops up. If you click on the image, it takes you to that wiimotes settings and lets you adjust sound levels and the like. If my explanation wasn't clear, it does explain it in the wii manual.
  4. Wii number exchange

I'm having real trouble getting my Wii to use my wifi network. I just recently got a Belkin F5D7632-4. It's a combo adsl modem and router, but I only need it as a router. The internet works fine on my computer using the router, wired. But the Wii nor DS can gain access. Now for the weird bit. For some reason I can't access the IP address (192.168.2.1) to change any of the settings on the router. It just times out when trying to get there. So I imagine the Wii can't gain access because the security is set at high levels, but I can't change them without getting to that IP address. Is anybody here more network savvy than I? Or just random suggestions, at this point I'll try practically anything.
  5. How did you find Idle Forums?

I was much the same as Lobotomy. I hung out around adventuregamers, saw they were making Idle Thumbs and thought the articles and news stories were a step above the ones I'd been reading on the larger gaming sites. Then the articles stopped, so I joined the forums! I don't hang out on adventuregamers forums much any more because they seem to just continually rehash the same stuff.
  6. Someone is already ripping off the Miis...

Not to mention the WeeMee which was all the craze about a year ago for MSN messenger users. Fortunately, it has died down. At least, among my acquaintance. http://www.weeworld.com/
  7. Zune...

I have a Creative Zen and I love it. It doesn't have Wifi, but I don't really want to 'trade' music. If I do, I'll be more than happy to use a USB cable and a computer. It also has those 'multi function' doo-dads that seem to be all the rage, like radio, microphone, video and photos. But to be honest, I just want it to hold all my music and play it back. And who wants an mp3 player that's brown? Who thought that was a good idea?
  8. Wifi

I considered getting one awhile back and read a lot about them. What turned me off them was I had to leave my computer on to have them work, and I can't leave mine one without getting a huge electric bill. Whereas if you get a wifi router that is compliant, that's on all the time and works without the computer. I don't know if that's an option for you or not. From what I read, most of the reviews said they were getting great reception from about 10ft away but no one seemed to say anything about further. I would doubt you'd get reception two floors away. This site details which routers work with the DS wireless. http://www.n-europe.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-2590.html
  9. Bad games that are good

I agree some of the mods were amazing. Unfortunately, I had to work on making a mod for school, and it was a miserable experience. I have great respect for those who make amazing mods in Unreal.
  10. Bad games that are good

I'm sure someone will disagree but, Unreal Tournament 2004. I hated that game and that engine, but somehow, after having a really crappy day at Uni, there was something theraputic about shooting up some bastard aliens.
  11. DS Games

Is there any news on when Touch Detective comes out in the UK? I want to get my hands on it.
