    Couple of things I really liked about Fallout... It was a very clever satire on a 1950s American vision of a looming nuclear holocast fueled by the onset of the Cold War. Now that's a mouthfull. Ron Perlman's marvelous voice work in the intro.

    MaxConsole would be a good place to start. Be very careful what you buy. There is a lot of crap out there.

    An interesting read. I mostly agree with what he is saying about the state of storytelling in the industry. It has been a while since I played a game with a really absorbing, clever story. Most games seem to be based on a loose premise and rely on movie cliches or clumsy plot devices to move the story along. Since I couldn't possibly play every single game out there I honestly can't say there isn't any good storytelling. There must be the odd exception.

    Just started playing Phoenix Wright and I am loving it. Reminds me of the old PC adventure games. For some reason I keep thinking of Willy Beamish. The characters are just hilarious. Especially during the courtroom battles. Highly recommended if you like adventure games.

This suits me better since I can have a whole bunch of CF cards with different things on them. Holding thumbs that they will release some better software to deal with the problems posed in the above review. Otherwise I guess I'll have to write my own .
