  1. I just successfully pulled off the second challenge in the Hitman Kotti Paradigm, in Cheatin Hitman style. I am really bummed my CPU isn't beefy enough to stream this game. Does anyone know if it's even possible to stream Hitman smoothly on a single CPU? I'd consider upgrading if so; have an i5-4670k atm.

Just throwing this out there, but since you have time to stream at this particular time... have you considered making a Wizard Jam entry and streaming its creation?

Haha, oh man. Crazy idea and maybe something that'd be fun for the next one. I think to do that right now I'd have to stop playing Planet Coaster and Dark Souls though, and I really would like to finish that park/game.

I wanted to watch some more Dark Souls while working on something else. So, I opened up Twitch, picked a stream at random, and was immediately treated to some guy explaining to me why feminism is stupid.

Lame. I will stream Dark Souls tomorrow. Probably during the day.

  4. I have been very sick since a camping trip this weekend, and spent most of the last 2 days in bed watching the Planet Coaster stream. I would slowly tune out, fall asleep, and wake up to an amazing new horror on the beef chief experience. Watching the Nublar come together got me up and cleaning up. Now I'm almost back to health and there is still more to watch. Thank you for your insane dedication Nick. Can't wait to be in chat for the next one.

Haha, cool. Glad you're feeling better.

Speaking of which -- I really want to stream more, but my allergies have left me in a gross and grumpy state. :/ Hopefully soon.

PS. My girlfriend is out of town starting tomorrow, so I will actually probably stream a few times over the end of this week/weekend.

  5. I've been playing on Cassandra/challenging and feel like I've conquered the base game enough to move on to extreme scenarios. My latest base is positioned in the northern-most starting point possible; average yearly temp -16F. After about a half hour, I've got a little McMurdo station set up and I love it. I hate having to worry about freezers -- especially with solar flares, etc -- and I really hate heat waves, so this has been somewhat of a relief, albeit an ultra-challenging one. Don't think I'm going back to temperate zones after this.

  6. I really hope that this isn't the end for Nick. It's his first brick wall, going somewhere lacking the gear or the stats to beat it without hours of practice, and I'd hate to see him give up there.

    The real danger isn't that I'll give up -- it's that I won't.

  7. Chances are high: we're going to do a Hitman stream on Sunday starting at 1 PM Pacific.

I will also restart Dark Souls soon. Hopefully will give some lead-time on the day, but I may also just start up a few streams here and there just to fit it in when I have time.

  8. We do have to consider that Nick will be somewhat less drunk this time though, and he did get the Abyss Watchers pretty quick.

I think less alcohol actually hurt my game.

Also, thanks everyone for watching me bumble through that.

Also, thanks Kyir for continuing to give a blind/drunk man directions.

  9. You guys mentioned the possibility of doing an all-singing, all-dancing binge stream of the completed works of Wizard Jams past and pending, and then immediately dismissed the idea.  Instead of doing that, maybe in the lead-up to wizard jam 2016 you might consider doing streams of games from previous wizard jams? (wizards jam??)

We are actually planning on it! Sometime after the end of Wizard Jam 16. When we nail down a date/time we'll update this thread, and also announce it on the podcast.

  10. Another Edit: It seems they weren't purged, the links are just all wrong now. You can find the correct links on the channel profile page:

Check again! (I knew they were broken -- just wanted to get the thread up.) I will be going through and adding most of our past streams to this list. I'll also be archiving as many as I can on Youtube. Definitely let me know if there are any other errors!
