That's not what I heard. Okay, I could have wrote 'lets make out with Tim Schafer long time' but I didn't want to bore people with such scientific mumbo-jumbo.

This was the plan: in order to make a movie out of his beloved game happen, the author totally made this up and counted on the internet to dublicate the nonsense (what the monkey-dog-hybrid we all share did as naturally as slavering when the blue light shines, or writing on a thousand typewriters), so that it finally lands in Tim Burtons field of vision. Mr Burton then goes like: 'I love it, lets make out with Tim Schafer', and the result is a little Grim Fandango-movie/child.

I just played through Samorost 1 and chapter one of Samorost 2. Delightful stuff.

The marvellous gilbert-thumb-art pops up when one searches for "Ron Gilbert" with the google-image-thing. On the first page. And hey, the internet is, like, free and stuff that is free belongs to nobody, you know. And for the petty there is the generosity of Image credit.

Shadow Grounds is really a nice little game. It's kind of short, kind of simple and a lot of fun. Definitely worth the 20 bucks.

What was your most embarrassing moments/embarrassing monets you caused others?

I'm currently reading this book. Strange thing. Got it as a present and didn't know a thing about it. As well as the one who bought it. And odd that it gets mentioned here. Not that it's that famous (I think). And curious that you had to spell it out that it's the name of the author befor I got it. -
This man surely knows his 'jack squat'.

Three-headed-monkeys. Lots of them. Finally the surviving adventure-gamers get their hands on chainsaws, but there is no fuel to be found. Classic plight.

It gets better and better. I love it, it makes me happy inside. Now it isn't a cheesy but real gameshow made by strange (like, super strange) kids, no, it's a cleverly constructed internet-alluring product by a morbid couple who are nothing but puppet-masters. The hosts are only marionettes whose love for games gets exploited. Strings everywhere, even in this very forum. The drama, the comedy, the blood. Some horrible deaths added and it's Shakespeare. So, what's next?

Wasn't there once a game that had some kind of chainsaw-lookalike controller (an evil-dead game, I think) as gimmick. A chainsaw without chain and saw but lots of buttons. Now with a Wii-powered sword-controller it would be not just a ridiculously looking piece of plastic but be really cool. Kill-Bill-like swordfights with a real Wii-Katana. Awesome. Or a Wii-lightsaber (no light, but real built in speaker-sound). Or Wii-whatever.

Old graphics I don't mind, but the pre-mouse-look controles nearly scared me off. Then I got the first message from Shodan and was hooked. The situation you guys describe (trying to get into a classic and just don't...uh...fell the magic, or enough of it to keep going) I had with quite some games, but man am I happy that it worked out with this one. Great great game. I am surprised at how much it still has this Gothic-Look to it. The animations, the characters, the whatnot. It's like Gothic I v3.0. And that's a good thing.

Some months ago I played System Shock I for the first time and loved it. So I'm waiting and hoping for Bioshock. When the final game is as good as Irrational Games' Creative Director Ken Levi makes it sound in this really interesting interview with IGN I'm a happy little monkey.

Did you know that Tucker Carlson thinks the Colbert performance wasn't funny? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in3ZMJZPpEM&feature=Discussed&page=1&t=t&f=b) Being from one of those silly not-the-USA-countries and therefore not having access to USA-TV I thought 'who is this Tucker Carlson that he is on YouTube and why doesn't he like Mr Colbert?' The famous internet helped. Jon Stewart vs. Tucker Carlson: http://throwawayyourtv.com/2006/04/jon-stewart-crossfire-appearence.html Internet says it's old and known, but maybe some of you haven't seen it. It's funny.

When you say it's cool, it's cool. Cool. Oh, and I once reached into my soul, but all I got was a lousy t-shirt that said something like: I reached deep into my soul, but all I got was herpes. -
It features Gabe Newell and Spiderman, it has a guy in the john and the girl handles the cooking and talks dirty - I love it. seriously: It's not that bad. Far from professional, rather cheesy but quite watchable. They seem to be passionate about gaming, the Spiderman performance was good (his acting), they talk like they are prepared (and handicapped, but with that in mind it's even more impressing), they even have puns. Their scores are strange as are the moderators but they pulled it off so respect from my side.

I voted. But after doing so some (morally troubling) questions arose. Is your map really the best map? I blindly followed your call without owning FEAR or knowing a thing about 'maps'. What if little Timmy made the world's best map but doesn't have the internet-pull? It was his dream to one day win something (and he deserved it, after the thing with his mother) and now I crushed his spirit. It's my dilemma, not yours, but you're the one who can solve it. -

"Hah, that's 20 questions, you guys lose." "So what was it?" "Anachronox, man you guys are dumb." "But...you said it started with a 'U'." "Yeah, I know." so hilarious... "Have a beautifil life, Sly. I'll love you always. Yours truly, Fatima." ...so sad

I thought it was a robot. The name, the 'human' spelling, the claim to have found this side searching for Duke Nukem. The purpose of its existence is what I don't get. Maybe it tries to trick people for research-value. Or to advertise for the upcoming Duke Nukem Forever. If you, Mr RemoteAccess, are just a robot-impersonator I'm sorry for the 'it'-calling and stuff.
