Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding but thanks for the info! -

Did anyone happen to catch those three books the emailer recommended about cities? If not, I can relisten to the episode later but if anyone has them handy in a listen I'd really be interested. -
Idle Thumbs 116: Ragnar Calls it Quits

Now I just really want to play Rebellion again now that I'm not 12 years old. Looks like it's a game that is going to be hard to get a hold of. -
I guess should prepend this, as a form of disclosure, that I work for Silk (the tool with which I made this site). But I've catalogued pretty much my entire game library and using it to destroy my shamefully large backlog. http://mybacklog.silkapp.com As a metric to determine the order to tackle the game is I went for its metascore, might not be the best choice but I couldn't thing of any other way. If you've got an idea, I'd be open for it.

Thanks for the answers, guys. Might be repeating myself, but that all sounds really cool. Also, great name.

As a (professional!) web-nerd I'm kind of interested in the technical nitty gritty. What CMS are you guys using or did you build one yourself? I'm especially wondering if you're using a CSS pre-processor or not, since the stylesheets seems very hand-coded. I have to say as front-end developer, that is some delicious looking source code you've got, very clean. Way cool.

I got a NES for my fourth birthday. I think my dad just wanted one, but used me as an excuse. Played the hell out of some Super Mario Bros. though.

Hi, my username is FSFunky and my real name is Jeffry. I design interactions for a living and I like video games, movies, music, books and fun. I found out about Idle Thumbs just after the podcast died (I don't know how I ended up on this site with a 2005 registration date, honestly) and was super glad to see the Kickstarter. I'm usually more of a lurker than a poster, so I'll be around.

The Idle Book Club 1: The Sense of an Ending

Does that mean that with the top tier you get the <body> tag? Or maybe you could name the css file after me and I would get in the header! -
The Idle Book Club 1: The Sense of an Ending

This book club podcast is probably my favorite thing about the Idle Thumbs resurrection. I've bought the book, just finished reading American Gods for the first time, and it's now next on my list. -
How do you feel about racial stereotypes in the form of cars? Port seems to be decent, was a point and click adventure so the interface seems fine. Can't find a way to save my game, though. It's not optimized for the retina display of my iPad but it looks fine. Best part: it has Game Center achievements.

I took the plunge...

I feel kind of embarrassed I played the Putt-Putt and Freddi Fish games when I was like 14 or something. It was, ostensibly, to help my seven year old brother. But I just really liked them. I remember playing the Putt-Putt one in the zoo a lot. They were dubbed in Dutch (Flemish actually, which added to its charm to me) so it would be interesting to see them in the original language. Yes, I'm a 25 year old man who wants to play an adventure game starring a purple car.
