  1. Electronic Arts: the positive thread

    PREPARE! READ: http://gamasutra.com/features/20070216/fleming_01.shtml ENJOY!
  2. DS Games

I'd agree with that 100%. Portrait of Ruin is a very nice game, but it felt rather limited and short lived. However, Richter mode with a level 1 cap is insanely delicious ~~~ BTW, Aria of Sorrow is the GBA version. Dawn of Sorrow is the DS version.
  3. DS Games

To be fair, they're all really really great titles. Circle of the Moon's simplistic graphics are well overshadowed by the glorious gameplay enhancement thanks to the card system. Harmony of Dissonance's graphics a great improvement and the introduction of magic vs subweapon elements made it really enjoyable. Aria of Sorrow is arguably the best on GBA with great improvement made to the animation. Soul collection is the key in this one and powering up your skills based on the number of souls you have of a particular kind -- sometimes getting 9/9 souls is quite difficult due to the extremely low drop rate of them, but also making this achievement even more satisfying. Hell ... get them all.
  4. DS Games

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow .. are two of the most enjoyable titles I have ever played. Mmmm goodness. Also, anyone know when DQIX is due for release??
  5. Must-play PlayStation 2 games

These have probably already been covered, but what the hell: - God of War (and GoW2 soon) - Ico - Shadow of the Colossus - Rez - Frequency, Amplitude - Guitar Hero I & II - Final Fantasy X, XII (Soon) - VF4 - MGS3 - Canus Canum Edit (Bully) - Okami - Front Mission 4 (I hope people agree with me on this import only title)
  6. New people: Read this, say hi.

I'm kinda new.. returning after quite a long time away. Used to work with Shady Ben at SEGA a while back when I was in London. Living in h'Australia now - studying acting of all things. Hopefully you'll hear my voice in the introduction of Rome: Total War in the future....
