It's probably accurate to say I started playing Metroid Prime years ago! I stopped playing it when God of War came out, then didn't get back to Metroid for a while after, then I stopped playing it for Dragon Quest VIII, which I stopped playing for Okami, which I may very well stop playing for God of War 2.

I find myself thinking rather oddly. I'm talking to Sybil about her beta-testing. She's said the game can get a bit repetitive. I had a hunch that if I selected that dialog enough times a gag would appear. It didn't. Is there one?

I haven't played the game yet, I'll probably buy it when I'm done with all the games I've still to play at home, but I've heard mostly good things about it. One review I've read suggests that the plot is a bit lame and some of the characters are hard to like.

There's these puzzle books called Hanjie which are basically the same thing. They used to be called Tsunami, I suspect they changed the name after the Boxing Day disaster. You use pencils(remember those) of various colours to fill in the blocks. I think there's also something similar called Griddler in some newspaper. The numbers for it are along the bottom and right-hand side, which is pretty illogical. Your hand keeps getting in the way!
