Put some of any sugary liquid at the bottom of a soda bottle and add some soap to break the surface tension. It'll attract and drown them.

If you see the first season, you get to experience the feel of the show, see that lovely introduction at the start of each episode and in general you will see what the show is about. There are a couple of stand out episodes later, but in general the show doesn't get any better later (but it's often a lot worse). As for the effects budgets and such, the less you see of that the better. It's not like they are ever good, so the show is not at its best when it's showing off special effects.

Yeah, these past two episodes have been pretty bad. "Good Man" suffered from all the red shirts that sprung up from nowhere (and other stuff) and they both suffered from having River Song in them, "Hitler" obviously a lot more. Watching "Hitler" made me realize how little I care for the character, but usually her influence isn't strong enough to offset how awesome the past two Doctors have been. Also, the mystery of their relationship was somewhat intriguing, but the mystery is gone and it's just shit. IMO everything about "Hitler" that wasn't River Song was pretty great, especially the future people and how they put Hitler in the name, brought him in and then did almost nothing with him.

I've seen all of Red Dwarf, but I don't think you really lose much if you just see the first season.

I found this on Play.com for 16€ a while back and finally got it. Just finished it. It's odd to be disappointed by something that is mostly excellent. I loved all the detail and backstory and everything, but the puzzling aspect is really lacking. There wasn't a single one that was in any way satisfying. I almost wouldn't call them puzzles. You just follow the clues Valve put in the environment until the game's narrative runs out.

From the post I initially replied to you seemed to be very particular about the sense in which the word should be used (the biological definition). But perhaps we have been talking around each other.
