Hah, that's affordable schooling? Save for ten years and then apply to universities?

David Lynch's Josh Brolin's Campo Santo's Fire Watch With Me: A Motion Picture Event

Ah, okay. I don't actually care all that much, although that ledge could use some cushioning and black and yellow tape to comply with safety regs. -

Forget the hands, they are fine. Let's get to the meat of problems with Firewatch. Are you going to fix the clipping at the top of the tower's stairs!? -
Aww, it's not discounted in Finland.

I love the title sequence, but I've only watched it because Netflix has slim pickings.

Today is Labor Daybor! (The Labor Movement and Video Games)

There's a game like that. Can't remember what it's called. -
Hrm, I don't know, that's kind of dumb. I appreciate the idea, but the work is done so poorly it exaggerates the problem. The head in particular is a clear tell that whoever made that doesn't understand perspective, and that's the worst bit. And I mean the rendering. I feel like these divert from the actual problem. If the poses were easier on the anatomy, I don't know if that would actually fix anything.

Explain to me a person who's a critic but not a consumer. You think Roger Ebert never paid to watch a movie?
-
I can't believe they decided to go with a black map at the start. It's so dumb it makes it tough to take the game seriously. I'm both excited to play this and just deflated by that lack of imagination. I honestly don't know what to think.

I hated the Director's cut starting seconds after firing up the game. The original had a marvelous, explosive beginning. They decided to ruin it by inserting the Nico stuff before that. And then all the new animations are just horrid. What a waste.

I can't believe people are talking about this. It's a joke. Follow the money: there's only a problem when it flows to the journalists from developers and publishers, not the other way around. That's just being a consumer.
-
Bribing people would be a more reliable way to get high scores than putting that money in development. Games are already shit enough.

My experience with how straight people conflate bi and gay is that it doesn't come from thinking that bi is wishy-washy, just that bi isn't straight, making bi people gay according to the one drop rule. Straight people aren't always interested in the details of people's identities: you're either the same or other.

I have that, but the game hasn't pulled me in at all. I played like half an hour and got bored.

Eidolon -- why not take a long walk in post-post-apocalyptic Washington?

Huh, yeah, that's probably the case. Journey never appealed to me. -

This is definitely not primarily a survival game. This is closer to Gone Home. Maybe that should be more apparent. Anyway, the creator is apparently satisfied with the meagre sales. They never set out to make a game that even could turn out to be a big hit. I think it's a beauty. -
You meanies.

Nah, more about general low-budget Syfy clunkiness. I can't really remember since it was a while ago.

If the first episode seemed clunky to me and unappealing because of that, should I give it another shot?

Britain is the first place I've ever been afraid of the police. Granted that was an airport, but seeing them walking around with submachine guns did not make me feel safe.
-
Nope, that was about something else!

Well, why don't you lead with example and start with a bigger fish than her?

Oh, my god, she's a mastermind!
