That's not a criticism. There is nothing in the videos that would suggest it to begin with. It's merely an attack and changing the videos to counter attacks when new ones can be simply invented would stop her from doing any real work.

I have my first proper job interview in my field on Thursday, which is the same day I officially graduate. I suddenly feel a bit sick. Actually didn't really expect to be called into an interview yet.

I would love an Idle Thumbs community list provided it only contained Far Cry 2. OK, I would love a straight Thumbs curated list.

They are talking about committing to finish the game regardless of sales during Early Access in order to give their customers what they paid for. I don't see how Double Fine being a studio means they get a free pass on that. It helps to be cautious when buying Early Access products, but buying a Double Fine game shouldn't be considered a risky investment.

Idle Thumbs 176: The Classic Alien Form
brkl replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Oh, shit. I came here to post that exact thing and skimmed through nine pages of this thread to make sure no one had said it. Then I skipped to the end and saw your post. Anyway, that's the simple answer: violence in video games is fake violence while sexism in video games is actual sexism. -
Yeah, some of Chris's recent comments on the podcast lead me to believe they don't get paid all that much.

Obligatory Comical YouTube Thread II: The Fall of YouTube

Screams fake to me. -
Well, one would think the game should be fun by the time it hits Early Access.

That's presuming London lets another referendum happen ever after it came this close. Scottish people being voters hasn't been an issue for British governments thus far, so I don't see what's changed now.

Pretty amazing to see an election with 84% turnout. Shame about the result.

Don't get me wrong. I'm still waiting for this game with baited breath and the changes from Civ V seem interesting. Some more radical changes would have been welcome, especially ones that result from the fiction: did they not once look at the planet when approaching it? No curiosity in these people considering they were chosen as settlers to an alien world.

That's all of the internet these days.

Ghost rider 2 is so much fun. Very self-aware, much better than the first.

No partisan politics is a good description. I'm just wary of capitalism being considered outside politics which you didn't actually do but your post can be read that way.

He's been to conventions.

My guess is that he's kind of dumb, maybe. He's just on board with it.

I don't think the EU really operates with that level of agency. The UK would have to pull a couple of Russia's to become such a pariah.

Eidolon -- why not take a long walk in post-post-apocalyptic Washington?

I'm bumping this thread because of the mention in the podcast. Danielle likes this game; you should try this game. -
A single no vote denies entry. Scotland isn't getting in the EU for years. That said, after a while denying entry would become an embarrassment to UK and Spain because Scotland fulfils all the other requirements easily and already complies with EU directives. I agree that expecting good will from London would be a mistake whether Scotland votes yes or no.

Independent Scotland, fuck yeah. I've been following this for the past half-year. It would be one of the most amazing and wonderful political developments I would expect to happen within my lifetime.

Miffy, your school system confounds me. After a ridiculous time, I'm getting my thesis accepted today. I'll be a qualified English teacher on the 25th. I don't feel anything yet apart from a slight disappointment at the grade of my thesis.

I tried to find ways to shave without destroying my face for years. Spent a lot of money, didn't find anything. I'm doomed to a beard.
