I'm going to wait and see. I wonder how long it'll take for the price to drop to 200 if it launches at 250? Depends on the games, really, I won't buy it until there's something that interests me.
-
Damn I hate the $250 -> 250€ mystery tax.
-
I think you should add the winking Hitler emoticon.

I plan to play Misirlou at my wedding. Also, what's with Edward Scissorhands?
-
Yeah, that was a great game that would work well with Revolution.
-
Ooh, the teaser was sooo goood.

Yes, it is terrible, this idea. Sorry, I like it, but had to get that quote in.

The thing that makes virtual swordsmanship a whole lot easier than real life is that there is no weight.

It won't work if you throw the thing, but generally you keep the controller in your hands and whenever you change it position the controller gets accelerated. I can't claim to know that the controller can keep tabs on it's position at all times, but "six degrees of freedom" certainly includes x, y, z, yaw, pitch and roll. Unless they lied, of course.
-
You were expecting the same package to play on both GameCube and Wii?
-
The N64 controller looked like some sort of alien weapon.
-
It looks like a Super Nintendo controller with analog sticks.
-
Sensing acceleration means sensing movement of the controller. It won't tell the controllers position in relation to the console, but it will tell the controllers position in relation to it's original position.

Am I missing something here? I get hearing it can only detect tilt like that old Sidewinder, but that's not what Ben's post says.

Planescape, Glorantha, Raymond E. Feist's Midkemia, Tamriel to name a few.

I don't even like the LotR movies. Warcraft is the most boring fantasy setting since Warhammer. Even Dragonlance is more interesting.
-
According to the information in the first post the PS3 controller understands tilt, pitch and roll as well as movement in all three dimensions.
-
How is that a good idea? How about a fantasy movie that is not generic?
-
Same old crappy DualShock. This time without vibration!

We hate you, Dan.

Ahahaha... Man that guy is awesome. Read the job application page, it's awesome too. Most sitcoms don't make me laugh like Double Fine's homepage.
-
Oh, sweet, Space Oddyssey monoliths. This is awesome.

I dunno. I actually got a bit annoyed at Stewart in that clip. He wouldn't shut up. Give them a chance to defend themselves.

Oh, I can't wait for the E3 episode.
