VirtualDub is just software, you need to install encoder codecs for the specific codec you want to use. It is a bit hard to use, granted. I haven't enough experience to really advice you. Look for a manual or something.

The first movie is decent, well directed and often well written (dialogue, not plot), nice visual style. I just saw it a couple of days ago. Also, the Jim Henson Company turtle costumes are really nice.

The models looked pretty fresh. Not cardboard copies of earlier versions or unrecognizable and ugly. Original.

I was just being an asshole mostly. Anyway, I wouldn't say the voices are trippy or strange like the graphics, they're just very bad.

I wouldn't call the visuals absolute crap, so for me they didn't really mesh well with the absolute crap voice acting.
