Is that ol' Ben Franklin on Jack's shirt?

I think it's three signals with luminance and something to do with blue and red. Still, it's three signals. I don't know why it would be significantly better or worse.

Guitar Hero II (are the song selections localized?)
brkl replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
I doubt it. I think adding songs to that game is rather complicated (you need video and all the stuff the player has to do). Most likely the songs will be the same. -
Guillotines are so 18th Century.

The writer of that doesn't seem to really realize what the SCART RGB signal is. "Component > Scart > Composite" doesn't even make sense. SCART carries composite signal, so how could composite be better or worse than SCART? What he's referring to is the RGB signal carried by SCART which fits Wikipedia's definition of a component signal: "Component video is a type of analog video information that is transmitted or stored as two or more separate signals. " RGB has three signals, of course. S-video has two, brightness and color. Composite has only one signal and is the weakest. HOWEVER Once we get out of semantics, it may actually be true. Far as I know, the "component" video output doesn't send an RGB signal. Maybe it is better.

Can't you use HDMI for the 360?
-
You didn't turn it off. The processor is running, hence the system gives off some heat and eats some electricity.

The GCN pad. I have no experience whatsoever with the Classic controller.

It's pretty terrible. The buttons don't feel responsive (I'm not talking from a technical standpoint here) and the d-pad is hard to reach. The one good thing about it is that the left analog stick is in the right place unlike in the PS2 controller.

Looks like a leopard-print to me.

My TV doesn't support s-video either. AFAIK that is the case with many older and cheaper TVs.
-
Finlux was the only Finnish TV manufacturer, so that didn't take much of a guess.
-
The yellow thing on that adapter (I have the exact same one) carries composite video signal, which is not as good as s-video. Your TV will almost certainly support it, though. If the consoles have a composite video output, which would seem reasonable, you should have no problems. AFAIK European consoles (most audio/video appliances) should come with a SCART cord of their own, which should work too. EDIT: Oh, note that SCART inputs are not made equal. Usually if a TV has two SCART inputs only one can handle RGB signal, which is higher quality than either composite or s-video. It's an old TV though, don't know if it supports that signal at all. FURTHER EDIT: Why do you have a Finnish TV, Marek? Is it a Finlux? That company went out of business a while ago.

It's a decent resolution. No real reason to go much higher for a screen that size.

So ugly. So elegant. WTF

We have the same plugs, they don't.
-
Do you want a Wii with a UK plug?

I can't really agree with that. I'd say a perfect score would say that one couldn't make a significantly better game the way the games industry is now, technologically and otherwise.

This was taken on Halloween. I didn't have a costume, but one of the girls helped me out.

Wrestlevania, somehow you managed to watch Eternal Sunshine the wrong way.

It's stable for me, but otherwise quite shite. Maybe it gets better, but I haven't played an RPG that starts that badly in years. Hey, get this...

Co-op for entire campaign is awesome and also the first thing that interests me about this game.

Jericho is getting better all the time, recommended.
