Best books are non-fiction?
-
The latter, which has Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman & Robin.

Oh man, that's hilarious. I enjoyed T3. It didn't take itself too seriously. I should rent it and watch it with commentary. BTW, if someone is looking for a funny commentary, Batman has a hilarious commentary with Adam West and Burt Ward. Well worth the price of the dvd, even if you wouldn't enjoy the movie itself.

Those comic books were pretty good, actually.

Yes. I think we can safely say that the overall point of the movies is that YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER.

Original idea? More like aboriginal hernia <-- oi! no more of this shit

It's the only platformer I've enjoyed. -
How about this from my Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English: The world 'fable' does not make most people picture an intricate storyline with deep characters. It's a story concerning morals. The word is a very good fit for the game's name. I have never played it, so I can't comment on your critique.

That's, what, at least $300,000 on wages. You'll probably need more than that. Making the engine is a separate software project, and they are prone to failure. Another unknown in an already unstable venture.

It's not on hold, Chahi just won't be able to advise them anymore, that's all. Yeah, thanks for fixing my spelling when quoting me. So subtle

Why are they pumping out so Many MMOs (bit of a rant)

Reading a book alone is like masturbation. Everyone should get some completely random person to breath down their neck and read the book over their shoulder. -
I actually liked the first page most. I guess he wants to preserve the art style of the game, though.

Well, I'm a student of English. It's not a word that commonly used outside of that circle. It means choosing the right word for the occasion (formal or informal, etc). But that's how native speakers do it! taught

I don't believe you. Okay, maybe you have some problems with register (minor problems), but people with limited language skills don't use fancy sentence structures correctly. Proper use of register is the last thing people learn anyway.
-
Your English skills don't seem to be that limited...
-
You twisted bastard.

Just like real kids, then?

Oh, don't believe people who playtest a game. It's an infuriating process. I've done it a few times and can't make myself play the games once they're done.
-
I can't remember anyone mentioning that game over here, but welcome nonetheless.

Looks like Crush has the 3D mode as the 'main' mode, while it's the other way around in Mario. I think I prefer the Mario approach.

True for any controller. I'm of course talking about the potential the controller has. It'll be a while before we reach it.

Hah, linguists are debating about that. 'He/she' is cumbersome, 'they' is not strictly grammatical but at least it's not sexist like 'he' or 'she'. I use 'they'.

I think you've been taking what he says not only more literally than you should, but more literally than even Molyneux intends. He's not trying to make the dog or the game feel for you -- there's no force in the world that could do that. When he talks of the dog's unconditional love for the player (as if that could exist in anything actually living and feeling), he talks of a gameplay mechanic. The point is not to make the dog feel. The point is to make the dog seem as if he's feeling and by that make YOU, the player, feel.

Oh, sure, a wheel will work better with any driving game, but we can't have a different controller for every kind of game. As a generic controller, the Wii Remote will work better in a wide variety of games in terms of immersion than any other controller so far. PS3 and 360 do not have mouse+keyboard as a viable option.
-
For the purposes of aiming or immersing the player, they are inferior control schemes.

It was a fantastic series, but I don't really mind it being replaced by Galactica.
