I found the trailer interesting because the black zombies, who are obviously zombies, act exactly how hordes of black Africans act in many movies, even though they are supposed to be human. I thought it made for a nice commentary.

I recommend a shorter game so that the whole thing doesn't break down.

You're right. I haven't really been stuck once. A couple of tries at most will get me through a spot and I have a bunch of mixed herbs & first aid sprays stocked up.

I only have a Wii, so nuts to that. Something we all have is a PC. We could play Grim Fandango. EDIT: Nuts to that for me. If you decide on a console, I won't mind, I just won't be able to take part.

I read the Eurogamer review. That guy must have two left hands or really, really suck at games. The Wii controls are great. I really love the game. The The Thing inspired baddies are superb. My only quibble would be that the game's wonderful atmosphere is marred by silly arcadeish stuff like the Merchant. A game like this should have me find all my ammo & guns from the environment. Collecting money just doesn't fit. And what kind of gun merchant stocks rocket launchers & uzis, but not ammunition? EDIT: Oh yeah, I just found out that the semi-auto rifle apparently has a scope which you can't aim with the remote (you use the stick). This fucking sucks, as it'd be a great weapon otherwise. I guess it's back to sniping with the Red9.

Miffy, Strikers can be annoying as hell. It was super fun to play for a while, but after trying to beat Crystal Cup (the second cup) co-op with my little brother around 10 times, I can't bring myself to play more. Maybe it's a good purchase if you just play it against people online or (preferably) in the same room, but the difficulty level is completely wonked in the cup games. We often beat an opponent around 20-1 twice, only to lose 0-1 in the semi-finals. If we pass semi-finals, the final is impossible (Diddy Kong's special move often removes all our players for at least 30 seconds, that's one sixth of a game).

The Consolevania guys have already made two seasons of a series called videoGaiden, with a third season confirmed. I'm not saying the character ISN'T a reference to their dealings with the Beeb, though.
