  1. BioShock - They weren't kidding...

The min. requirement is a 2.4GHz Intel processor. AMD's chips run at lower frequenzies, so what you need is an Athlon 2400+ or thereabouts.
  2. Agent 47

I think a decent action movie is the best we can hope for, and this second trailer is a lot better than the first. The plot is a nice twist on the original clusterfuck.
  3. Bioshock: first impressions

I spent most of last weekend playing it. It's beautiful. I'm experiencing the same overwhelming feeling I did playing Half-Life 2, perhaps to an even greater extent.
  4. Totems

I'd say it's aged much better than other titles from around that time. Some of the effects they use in the game didn't become common until a couple of years ago.
  5. Umbrella Chronicles

Ehm, that URL is pretty messed up.
  6. Double Shock

I don't know if I'd call Deus Ex' Hell's Kitchen 'thriving'.
  7. Zero Punctuation

Surprisingly fair? This guy is responsible for pretty much every actually funny amateur adventure game. He probably has a Schafer shrine in his closet.
  8. Totems

I get it! Is it done yet? What about now?
  9. Bioshock: PC or 360? [NO SPOILERS!]

If you disliked the enemies, isn't that an excellent reason to keep killing them?
  10. Bioshock: PC or 360? [NO SPOILERS!]

I can't really consider something nearing 100€ 'negligible', especially when in a short while I'd have the same dilemma all over again. I do have a birthday coming up, though.
  11. Zero Punctuation

Speach? Also, in your other post, it's supposed to be spelled 'hilarious'. I'm not a dick, really.
  12. Bioshock: PC or 360? [NO SPOILERS!]

If only my video card supported shader model 3
  13. Double Shock

Excellent. And I haven't even played the demo, so what do I know?
  14. Double Shock

It's absolutely wrong to disregard Bioshock because its gameplay isn't innovative enough. Most of the gameplay just improves on the already great foundation of System Shock 2. It's the setting, the premise, the story that's making such an impression on people.
  15. Double Shock

    Welcome back in 50 years.
  16. Bioshock: PC or 360? [NO SPOILERS!]

If you can run it well, go with PC. If you can't, like me, go with 360 (or in my case, an imaginary 360). My PC scrapes by the minimum requirements, but I know it would look and play shit. I'll have to wait until I have a 360 and I guess a new TV too.
  17. Zero Punctuation

Yes. It's both good and bad. I did enjoy the old Escapist, but the move makes sense. I miss the great background art they used to have. Also, the website hasn't been tuned to perfection yet.
  18. Double Fine

vimes is great because he can say "j'accuse" with the gravity of a native Frenchman.
  19. Double Shock

I'm sad that I don't have a damn 360 to play this with :/ Maybe I'll buy it and caress the box for hours and hours.
  20. Double Fine

If it does, I will brutally kick you in the nads.
  21. Dead Rising

    Tell me that was intentional!
  22. God of War

It's a pain in my three-thousand-year-old ass, I tell ya. But I comply and don't play -- I don't want the Federal Bureau of Statistics after me again.
  23. God of War

I tell people I'm three thousand years old and mostly they just leave me alone after that.
  24. Idle Thumbs Steam community

I'll wait until the feature matures.
  25. Idle Thumbs Steam community

That's the Steam I learned to know and... love.
