Man I've been waiting a long time for some new Kaufman movie to do nasty things to my mind.

I got to see The Fall a few days ago and it's really pretty, imaginative, spectacular and full of heart. See it. It has Blue Skies. BTW, the guy who portrays Roy in The Fall is also in a show called Pushing Daisies, which I really like. The show looks really, really Disney sugar coated, but is a bit deeper and darker than it looks like on the surface. Not too dark, though. It also has Blue Skies.

I really liked the first episode, but the rest have merely been entertaining enough to keep me watching. I guess enough time has passed that company execs feel a new X-Files will sell.

Some great use of the simple synth there with the wooshing sounds (reminds me of Vangelis' Blade Runner soundtrack), and a nice little motif, but doesn't really say 'RoboCop' to me... Especially when the actual RoboCop theme is phenomenal.

I like M. Night Shyamalan. I thought The Lady in the Water was a nice movie with heart and personality. Maybe The Village was a bit poor and Signs was bloody stupid towards the end, but Unbreakable is one of my favourite movies. So I like M. Night Shyamalan, he has vision. That said, The Happening was ass. Worthless from the beginning to the end. M. Night Shyamalan needs someone to slap him when he gets stupid ideas.

The Hitman series. I particularly like the music from the first game because it's not orchestral. From ye olden times, nothing gives me a stronger rush of nostalgia than the music from the first Gabriel Knight game.

I downloaded the demo, but no luck Won't run on this 'puter. Too bad, I really liked the first one.

That video is actually funny as hell I had to endure Simon Schama for a class about the history of England. He wasn't as grey and raisin-like then, but did look at things a lot.

Ever since those tremendously insightful podcasts started, you people will not stop writing! I'm used to a leisurely Idle Thumbs I can check a few times a day, maybe make a post or two. Now I can't get anything done. Yeesh!

Far as I know, they've only done the Chronicles of Riddick game and The Darkness. I haven't played the latter, but really enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick (even though I really don't care for the license). It's by far the best licensed game I've ever played, and special in that it has a quirky little vibe of its own unlike pretty much any other.
