Idle Thumbs 14: Interface with the Animus
brkl replied to Chris's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Jake is only upset because his contribution to Telltale's games is limited to random bits and pieces BTW, when you listed the stuff you've done for the games, I realized that it's all stuff I've felt has been done really nicely. While they're not critical to the games, the good implementation does make the games more enjoyable. -
God that's cute.

It was simply the most ridiculous, annoying, stupid and impossible choice I could think of.
-
Ooooooo.

For some reason Wii "screenshots" tend to use a higher resolution than the system is even capable of.

I'm not going to bother with spoiler tags from now on. Obviously you shouldn't read this thread if you haven't seen the newest episode and don't want to be spoiled. I remember an interview or something way back when Starbuck 'died' and came back. The main dude said she's not the fifth cylon. This isn't 100% backed up until stuff becomes clear in the show, but I'm sure she's something else. Ellen is the fifth cylon. The way it's put, I don't think there's any doubt.

OK, I agree with you up to a point... but I don't know if child-killing is really on the same level as posters...

Huh, IO? Wow, doesn't seem like their style. The video is very promising, though.

Then tell people you're not part of a group, don't just pussy out. If you're so concerned about what other people think about you, why not just become Christian...

There's only like one NPC in the entire game that travels more than about two screens (between his flat and workplace), and is easy as hell to find. I agree it didn't really work in Lure of the Temptress, although I never played that game for very long. I'm still sort of interested though. But you have to give them credit for trying to take the adventure game concept further in realism than anyone else at that time. -
Memory is cheap, but not that cheap. You just can't beat a plastic disc.

Actually, the first episode aired yesterday... Also:

There's absolutely no reason Sam & Max should have been stand-alone, except financial arguments. They could make about twenty games simply relying on stories from the comics, or more if they come up with new ones. I'd say it's inherently suitable for sequels.

Atheism is not a religion. Some people are trying to make it one, and will succeed if moderate people shun away from the term because of those people.

I don't, syntheticgerbil. Quit pissing on my childhood, or I'll do what the native Glaswegians do to people who piss them off :(:(:(:( I'm kidding, actually, but no, I changed my mind, shut up or I'll shank ye! -
How about telling people you're an atheist, but not treating it as a religion? I refuse to let a bunch of douchebags to steal the term from me.

OMG OMG OMG:adama::adama: The webisodes were great (when seen in one sitting). Can't wait.

Although I'm going to go ahead and admit I never had any idea MI2 had this stuff until I heard about it later, and still don't know what it sounded like. But I like the idea. The first Hitman game had a system like this. It used the same music format as Deus Ex, I think, and not simply recorded tracks, so it was possible. -
I only watched two minutes of the first clip out of interest. Man, American atheists seem insane.
-
I'd say it's about control, at least that's what the most memorable moment in the game was about.

A static track cannot react to player actions is why.
