Oh good lord that second quote is especially painful, Kroms. Thrik, would you still watch Russell Crowe movies if he was both a dick and talentless? Kubrick is a favourite director of mine, and he was an asshole, terrorizing people into giving him the performance he wanted. Also, he never told the guy who did the music for 2001 that he replaced the music with classical pieces -- not until the composer saw the movie in the premiere. But Kubrick had talent and a respect for his own medium, Cage has neither.

I'm not too sure about your post, Dan. It's a bit too diplomatic to sound like genuine sentiment. -
Is it a remake or a fan-made sequel?

A new multiplayer game (for the times when left for lobby gets too much)

Hmm, I'd love to join you with this. Dunno how it would run on my 'puter though. Also I can't afford it now. I've been playing the demo on PS3 and doing surprisingly well in it. -
Ahah, I hadn't heard of this game, so I thought Murdoc was actually talking about Mafia 2 and this was some kind of odd port. The screen shots look like five years ago.

Both The Godfather and The Saboteur took a bunch of features from Mafia, which was a lot like GTA3 with a story. I don't really know what this story is even about though -- is Mafia 2 going through a name change or are the ports going through one?

It was 32£ on Direct2Drive when I bought it.

I watched the GiantBomb quicklook and was constantly surprised by how much they seemed to like it. All I could see was a joke of a game. I had the bright idea of downloading the demo, but stopped after my guy couldn't get past the dumpster without handholding and then retreated back after I failed a button press.

Oh god. Oh god you know that's going to happen. Though probably in the form of Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: The Art of War   EA Presents: Not Quiet on the Western Front  EA Presents: Lolita Assassin

I miss Glasgow and actually seeing interesting movies in a room that's not my living room.

EA Presents: Neil Gaiman's American Gods of War EDIT: I have a ton of bonafide classics in my bookshelf but can't come up with those wonderful puns.

Moar. -
Quantity doesn't trump quality. I got 36 hours of extremely high quality entertainment for my 32 pounds, and I'm very happy I didn't have to spend more of my time on a padded out title. 36 hours is perhaps too long, though apart from mining I can't think of anything I would have cut.
-
Can't make use of that -- I've already bought it and regretted buying it. I suppose I could download the free one and regret downloading it.

Bioshock 1 or 2? None in 1 and several in 2.

Dude, what. -
Those are not small breasts. Merely breasts an actual female human being might have, unlike most in video games. Though have they considered the game might now be considered child pornography in Australia?

It's in Oulu too. I don't like it. It reminds me of summer.
-
Good lord the inventory in ME1 sucked.
-
It's not enough to just ape the first games though.

You know what I'd like? Dudes flailing around like crazy when you Pull them.
