Good god I hated the racecar thing. I adore most things about that game, but the race nearly stopped me from playing. Fortunately I managed to get through it eventually.

Everything about the trailer turns me off, but the RPS write-up makes it seem interesting. Ought to be, considering it's Irrational.

Yeah, it's weird. They have tons and tons of animations for weird interactions, but if you want to see them the game punishes you.

Goblins is one of the earlyish games I remember playing (though not the earliest since that was when we had a 4-color monitor). I remember it frustrating me to tears.

So do they know you're following your girlfriend to another city? That should be understandable motivation. To me it's commendable! If they can't accept it, it's on them, whatever the circumstances really... Your life trumps your job.

The Bioware site is confusing as hell. Every time I want to get a DLC I have to figure out how the hell it's supposed to work all over again.

Katsumi wasn't interesting at all to do after having finished the game. Maybe it wouldn't been OK to do along with the rest, but it's pretty throwaway.

I don't understand how anyone could say Inception lacks heart considering how everything revolves around Cobb and his painful history. There's all the heart there that a movie like this could possibly carry.

Yeah, Kane & Lynch 2 looks like it could be really good. The aesthetic works and makes combat feel really chaotic. Plus it has local co-op which is most awesome.

I expect the shooty bits of the first game haven't aged well since they sucked when the game was released. Everything else makes up for it, though.

I used to really like Metropolis, especially since it reminded me of Blade Runner so much, but damn is it clumsy. Most of the films from that era I've seen are nowhere near as cumbersome, including Fritz Lang's other films. Especially Fritz Lang's other films.
