I felt amused for a second, and then sad.

His beard looks exactly like my pubic hair.

I am Iron Man (Is there a doctor in the house?)
brkl replied to ThunderPeel2001's topic in Idle Banter
My advice would be to just take what the doctor tells you to and only start worrying if your blood starts reacting to magnets. -
Well, KOTOR does look awful, so that part checks out.

That's a spoiler :X

It annoyed me to no end they never fixed the faulty 3D model they used for the Lost title screen. You could see the background through faults in the model :/
-
Also note that it's over the phone so it lacks that face to face dynamic that was important for Thumbs.
-
Also you can play them whenever you want and reinstall them without worry. And you get soundtracks and such.

This thread has been going on for more than a year and I haven't posted once, so happy belated birthday everybody!

OMG it's Chris Remo of The Idle Thumbs Podcast! Hearing Chris and Kieron on the same podcast was pretty great, even if Chris was mostly asking questions.
-
Guh, I wish they'd fix the stupid bugs in it. Like saving in multiplayer which is just broken.

I am loving this. Attacking EA was such a clearly idiotic move. I hope he gets life.

I can't really agree with anything you've written, Wrestle. The cinematography is excellent in my mind and has managed to take my breath away in repeated viewings. It's more like Baraka than The Cell, though I haven't seen the latter. Maybe I should. Here the cinematography gives room for the beautiful vistas. It's not a dream, it's a story. I don't understand your criticism of the movie which seems to come from the main character not being nice. He's a tragic and sympathetic figure, but acts selfishly in this situation. He's clearly clinically depressed and seems to know he's doing wrong but is unable or unwilling to stop. It's still a flawed movie with problematic pacing, but visually it's magnificent and the manner in which the story is presented is unique.

But isn't that how it actually worked? I don't remember any alternative to steam power except not progressing in knowledge.

Yeah, okay, I just picked the first image I found (off of GiantBomb's article). Still, I'm not worried about how it would how with a higher poly count as long as it's done by talented people.

Jesus, what is this, a game about the transportation of African slaves to the Americas?
-
That's not how I remember it at all. I remember being surprised by how high poly the character models looked. Those wouldn't be ruined by higher polygon counts.

I've finished three games so far, all on small maps. I fucking love this. There's a few niggles, such as annoying automatic workers, but all in all it's far improved from the earlier games, where I would quit when someone attacked me. Just too annoying to deal with war.
-
Huh. Maybe I'll finish it this time. That fucking end boss.

I saw Four Lions yesterday and really liked it. They went a bit too far in making the characters apart from Omar stupid, but somehow that didn't bring it down as much as I would think. Also, the ending worked really well IMO.
-
Huh, and I thought I was being a dick for suggesting you might not have tried the compatibility modes!
-
I just read that. Read it, there's a clever bit at the end!

Loving it so far. The combat is improved so that I won't rage-quit as soon as someone declares war, which is terrific. Also, seeing most hexes of a large area filled with troops is far more terrifying than one stack of units. But why can't these games allow non-combat moves and decisions to be canceled if you do it before ending your turn? I totally adopted a different policy I was going to and that's that.

Hey guys let's all buy APB.
