I have to wait a few days. I've been playing quite a lot of Bad Company 2 actually. I still don't always quite enjoy it :X But I've found Conquest actually suits me better.

Squid, if you find GB that bad, why are you watching it enough to analyze it like that? It sounds like fiction to me. I've seen most of their Quick Looks in the past half a year, but I couldn't come up with that description of their group dynamics. If it doesn't suit you, just don't watch.

I'd just go with the Final Cut. The Director's Cut (not actually by Ridley Scott) is pretty rough, though that's the version people loved for almost 20 years. There are no substantial differences, but the Final Cut fixes a ton of small faults and makes the film better viewing.

Civ 5 or Mass Effect 2. Can't really decide which since they're so different.

I'm guessing the people who do make these decisions at Telltale also don't really hear it. I do hear it and having this problem return after it was fixed in recent Telltale titles is just depressing.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. It's a few years since I played this through, but considering how much I usually hate the Sierra-style deaths it's surprising I did. Somehow it works in this game.
