I find some geek shirts really fun - but it really depends on what is written on them. Some are creative and quirky (for instance the cheat code for unlimited life in Contra, to the life hearts from Zelda) and others annoying. It really depends on your tastes. If I do buy geek shirts, I get the ones saying how much I love geeks (because geeks are awesome in my book) but I don't find the shirts to necessarily define who you are. Anyhow, like pitfalls of all apparel, either it looks good or it doesn't to other people. It's all about personal choice.

Oh man, I've always wanted to use a bad pick up line! Technically I used them in a conversation topic and it worked, but I think it was along the lines of what Yufster said - they were already interested so it didn't matter.

I play DnD version 3.5 pretty regularly with my friends. I must have one of the most non-stereotypical gamer groups (All gay guys, I'm the token heterosexual female,and a token heterosexual male). I also play board games on a regular basis like Usurppee Citadel Illuminati Maharaja Category 5 Caesar and Cleopatra NukeWar Coloretto RoboRally I have a friend who has 100+ games and he likes to throw a lot of boardgame parties. As for card games - I've played Babylon 5:CCG and Magic the Gathering.

I'm so sad - I totally missed out on this thread and it ended before I even got to it. I hurt.

Garden State. Great movie with adorable, quirky characters. The trailer itself is to die for and not to mention the songs "Let Go" by Frou Frou and "Such Great Heights" by the Postal Service are awesome. Garden State has one of the best trailers I have seen in a long time where you have very little plot spoilers. I hate it when movie previews these days outline the ENTIRE MOVIE in a 30 second commercial.

I didn't know that. I should have guessed though. I was there only on Friday and the only demos I tried were either really unfinished (Harry Potter, not good), ones that kept crashing (some online DnD game) or Katamari. So by the time I got a game that worked, and felt a little more polished just because it had some text mentioning E3, I was impressed. Sad, isn't it?

I played my first game of Katamari at E3. I found sick pleasure in trying to make my Katamari as large as possible... They made a special edition of Katamari for E3 - well only the introduction welcoming the player to Katamari at E3. It was a welcome change to all other demos at E3 - to have some game personalized just for an event.
