Let the toilet humor begin!

I know, I know, random thread. However, I seem to know a lack of rockclimbing enthusiasts so maybe idlethumbs can help me out. My gym's rockwall is free, so I was planning to go to it quite frequently this summer. The only problem is, they have a lack of climbing shoes (they go thru them quickly because of the eroding of the soles). So, I'm thinking of getting my own climbing shoes. My restrictions that they be 1. good 2. cheap, comparatively. So if anyone could give me any suggestions for shoes, it would be much appreciated. I'll most likely boulder, with some light rope climbing. And I want to rubber to last.

I don't think it really matters. Rules will get distorted, but the Olsen twins are truly scary. Dammit, I gotta raise the bar somehow, but people keep STEALING my ideas. Note to self: no mentioning of said ideas.

Wha?? I just read this off of slashdot. Zombie Dogs Apparently, US Scientists have revived dead dogs to life by replacing their blood with a saline solution. Then their blood is put back in, they're administered an electric shock and brought back to life with no brain damage. They plan to test this technique on humans sometime in the next year.....

All these video games homages remind me of a local band in my area called the minibosses Basically they're a live band that plays old video game themes.I tried getting them to play to a Scifi/Fantasy/Gaming convention in which I was organizing, but alas, they could not come. And not to mention that the stadium in my area is going to have the LA Philharmonic play video game themes. Woot.

I thought the geek nation was more obsessed with the Willow character from Buffy, Allyson Hannigan. Anyhow, I'm not sure how well the Video game will translate to film - it was seriously a very trippy game. And they would have to rename the movie so that people don't get American McGee's dark version of Alice in the Wonderland versus the popularized and more innocuous Disney version. I can only imagine someone's little kid going "why does Alice wear bandages over her wrists??"

Yeah, thanks for checking up on us! I felt the 5.3 earthquake yesterday, luckily I was far away from the epicenter to experience any real damage. We usually have small earthquakes all over, but as of late, we seem to be getting larger ones. It's a bit disconcerting to say the least.

Ah yes, the shifty eyes - I'm still not quite used to its many uses. I guess I looked at the thong rather than what was on it. And besides, it's WHITE - the absolutely wrong color for thongs.
