Hey guys, So I have an old graphics card, woop de doo. Anyhow, I tried to run Psychonauts on my computer but it said it couldn't because my graphics card doesn't support Pixel Shader 1.x or higher. However, when I tried searching for said support, I found a dismal lack online. So my question is, where/what do I need to download?

Sorry about ranting all, but it's just a pet peeve that I have. And I must apologize to Yufster if I misunderstood her humor, but girls can be territorial. I had a friend admit to me once, that I was lucky that she was dating one of the guys in the computer club, when she first met me. Else, she would have tried to make it mighty uncomfortable to me. I thought the guys were a bunch of fun guys, and i wanted to just hang out with them. Or when you got really bad vibes from another girl. Sometimes, when a female is the only female in the group, they like the attention - any other female is seen as a threat. It's petty, but it exists. There's also been other instances in my life where I was not well received by another female, and I find it counterproductive.

No one said relationships were easy. Women like to be more subtle from time to time. Or that's what I've learned here in America, but I wouldn't listen to me either. I mean, I'm relatively clueless when it comes to some social cues. The eye raise is also in this so-called arsenal.

I know Warcraft 3 != Psychonauts || Warcraft 3 <> Psychonauts || (Warcraft 3 (isPsychonauts) = false) But I don't like to buy things unless I need to. I'm on the frugal practical side.

Aw hell. So okay, my next question is what video card I should get. My current specs for my computer is a 2.8 Ghz Pentium 4 with 800 FSB Abit Vt7 motherboard 1 gig of RAM Considering that I don't plan to upgrade my computer much in the future, what video card should I get that should last me a while? And isn't too pricey. Thanks a bunch! I plan to order it off of newegg or something.

Dammit, I really don't want to buy a new video card. I heard something about using a program called "3d-Analyze" but so far, I haven't quite figured what settings I should use to run the card. If I can still play Warcraft 3, Frozen Throne, I should be able to play Psychonauts too!! dammit

But this is not the time nor the place of it. There are situations when people are clouded by their own problems and so they go to others to clarify it for them. They reach for help - not to be shot down and be judged by something as arbitrary as looks. I don't think you would be too happy if you went up to someone for advice and their answer is, "bla bla bla, it doesn't matter, you're fugly. Life sucks for fugly people."
