  1. OR 3 more people vote for 321 to get another page to join the crowd.
  2. 2 reasons to despair

I want to catch the mild bus. Also I am totally disinterested in Phil Harrison's talk, with it's long and buzzwordy name.
  3. Wii number exchange

Unfortunately it can take up to a couple of days to authorise.

Excellent! All Hail the Lady of Lead!
  5. Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

Yeah I loved those, most of them I expected but the wind waker one really caught me off guard!
  6. You should bear in mind, case 5 of the first game NEVER happened in plot continuity, so that goes some way to explaining your question. Also you find out more as the cases go on...... it's too good!
  7. It was Eljay's Birthday toooooooo

Thanks people! Chris Remo certainly is flying over to attend my party, and that is definitely the sole reason he is here, to go to a celebration of the birthday of someone he has never met. What an extreme guy. I now feel compelled to determine marek's age..... am I but one day older than him or what? Oh and no crazy Greek restaurant weddings for me..... not yet at least, going to a bizarre restaurant tonight that serve : crocodile, kangaroo, peacock, gnu, locusts and chocolate covered scorpions among other things.
  8. Let's all celebrate with new avatars!

Fine I give in, I am now avatared. It is 100% homemade though, so obviously random as anything.
  9. Wario Disguise Game

I believe he is referring to Wario: Master of Disguise (or Kaitou Wario the Seven in Japan) the new Wario DS platformer. Wario has 7 forms, the special powers of which are controlled by stylus gestures on the touchscreen. Here's a wiki article on it.
  10. Happy Birthday Marek

Yes indeed! Happy Birthday Marek, you certainly kept it quiet ¬ ¬ :woohoo: :woohoo:
  11. Animal Crossing: The Movie

n0wak, you don't need to post the fossils anymore, the process has been streamlined! So each season would end with the final paying off of the current mortgage so the next season can begin in a bigger house.... makes sense. At some point in the second season the golden watering can would be awarded, then over time the town would slowly become neglected until the main character disappeared for a very long time..... at least that's how it would work if it went by my game, heh.
  12. Weird things

Weird story, once on a car journey (not sure where to) we passed through a town called Towcester (pronounced "toaster"). I kid you not, the town actually smelled of Toast, it may have been psychosomatic but if it was it affected everyone in the car, hehehe.
  13. WoW would need a major redesign to be a good single player game, past level 20 at least. Doing the content solo I quickly burn out and tire of it, but in a group it is immediately more enjoyable. Miffy you are fortunate to be able to do that, but when I live 2 hours drive away from my Brightonite friends (Rusalka, Spaff, ginger and Nick mainly) it's a nice way to have fun with them during the week. It would be nice if there was some progression in MMOs though, the world could definitely stand to be more dynamic. Perhaps a system where each quest you do does affect the world but if you group with someone who hasn't done them then you see the world as it was before. Might make for some confusing chat with noobs though... ;;
  14. Sixaxis controller wins emmy... what?

I was under the impression that nintendo was a major stakeholder in Immersion and as such it would be kind of silly to sue themselves...
  15. Sixaxis controller wins emmy... what?

Yeah Sony bought the award as their controller is not brilliant (move the damn sticks, do it now!) blah blah, but SpiderMonkey how is the charging / battery setup inferior to the 360's??? The sixaxis has an included rechargeable battery pack and is rechargeable via a standard USB to mini-USB cable. The 360 controller on the other hand has to be run off of AA batteries unless you buy the separate battery pack and proprietary charging cable....... (note I'm still disappointed that nintendo didn't have rechargeable controllers at the outset, those included batteries don't last nearly long enough)
  16. I reckon it's probably intended as a reference to the term "free for all", especially since it's a show that's open to the public.
  17. XBox Live gamertag exchange

If you get a mysterious add request from banjoses, that's me
  18. ICO.

You can only do what you mention last on a second play through, which has several other bonus features such as translated dialogue, 2 player co-op, sepia old-style film filters and Of course this is all presuming you have the euro version.
  19. Your personal games of the year 2006

I'll do my GOTY post tomorrow perhaps, I just wanted to answer LOPcagney's questions about TC. First off Trauma Centre is not really a puzzle game, more of an arcade actioner in a way really. Very fast paced and you are generally told what to do. As to your actual question, there is a challenge mode where you can repeat any of the previous surgeries trying to earn a higher rank, plus in this mode there are a handful of tough bonus surgeries.
  20. Connecting console to TV

Haha, is your TV really so far away that it's an issue? lazy!
  21. Connecting console to TV

Sorry but there is no SCART - component jack as they carry different types of signals (RGB as opposed to Y/Pb/Pr), never mind the fact that SCART will only support 480i. If you really want to use a remote you can get a non-mechanical switch box but those are pricey....
  22. Connecting console to TV

First things first, I'm going to presume you got the names the wrong way around as you would be crazy to want to switch to composite hehe ;; Composite = the image is composited into a single signal, lame. Component = each component of the image carried separately, therefore better. (hopefully a helpful way to remember which is which) Now onto your actual question, does your TV have a VGA input? if so get the 360 VGA cable, image quality is roughly equal to component (there is some debate about which is better). If not then you can pick up a mechanical Component Switch box off ebay for about £10 so you just flick a switch to change consoles... (going with a mechanical switch rather than one with a remote means there is no chance of signal loss) LJ
  23. Would you rather...

That one's easy for me, there is no person I hate enough to make that situation intolerable, but there are several intolerable games that I have experienced. So I would chat to the person I hate the most for 2 hours.
  24. Wii number exchange

ok, should have added this sooner! 0560 6411 8724 6041
  25. Congratulations SPAFF

Sorry Jake, you're wrong. It's a triple-barrelled surname. If you want to know where the name really comes from, I am the keeper of the secrets...... edit: also note Claude is spelled with an "e" at the end
