Mass Effect was o.k. , far too short, Mako parts were dull , inventory sucked, not enough dialogue. I miss the old bioware.

This is win. ---------------- Thunderpeel, I think with Planescape its more about the small things than the big that makes it such a great game. The subtlety,the detail, and the overall quality of even the more minor quests is what makes it a great game.

In literary criticism there is the "Intentional fallacy", which basically says that the author's intentions are largely irrelevant to the analysis of the work at hand . A text should be analyzed based on internal evidence rather than external and contextual evidence. Monkey Island belongs to the public, and I think while Ron's musings are relevant, they are no more important than Tim Schafer's opinion or anyone elses. Once a game is in public domain, everyone's interpretation is valid.A good argument is a good argument, regardless of who makes it and a game is more than one person's vision. The author is dead.

Salam Krom, I'm from Bahrain so we get some of that stuff here as well. Had it happen to family members too. A more distant relative got killed (cousin twice removed or something). He disappeared for a week, then his parents got a call.Nothing more frightening that getting that call : "You son is outside the police station. Pick him up.*click*". They found him dead, battered to the point of being almost unrecognizable.

I was making a joke at the time :we can prevent kids from playing games with certain content, lets find a way of preventing them from playing poor games as well. Since I failed at humor I guess I can try to make it an argument.

I was thinking more like making sure my kids don't play Stalin vs. Martians

One in four men in South Africa are rapists...the other three just like to watch. While that is terrifying, I do recall hearing a frightening statistic about women in the US. I think it was 1-in-5 or 1-in-6 women in the US will be the victim of rape (statistic includes attempted). However, I think that includes a guy taking advantage of a drunk girl, regardless of whether or not he is drunk as well. I guess I'll open up this question for debate . Sex with a drunk girl :rape ?

I think I'm more partial to the galaxies system of making jedi/sith a sort of long term goal rather than allowing everyone to create jedi. Or if everyone is allowed to make jedi, there should be a sort of rigor and difficulty to prevent everyone from becoming overpowered. I think the best jedi should be stronger than the best bounty hunter, but becoming the best bounty hunter should be easier.

I like the special edition, not too crazy about the telltale tales.
