On a side note, it sort of makes me feel good that they chose this site to spam . Its almost like we are special or something.

Well I played Magic School Bus and Mario before, but it was FoA that got me into gaming . After playing it I played monkey island , then that got me to play games like Grim Fandango , and along the way I stumbled onto the gaming scene. So , like you said , FoA wasn't my first game but it was the one that determined my gaming future. Had I played Halflife years later then I would probably be a more mainstream guy , I would probably never visit this site... To be specific, losing your viriginity pretty much means two things : 1- A game that got you into gaming , doesn't have to be your first ; but it should be the game that really got you started. 2- A game that shaped your future as a gamer , not necessarily by influencing you in any meaningful way , but just made you go into a certain genre of gaming or favor a certain genre.

I agree, it was a great game but not enough,its a shame you can't do more. What is there to be done you ask ? Well , lemme see : 1-A base on the moon , underwater, or somewhere. 2-Genetic engineering to make laser shooting sharks. 3- How bout a two story sanctum , with a basement ! Thats about it. But it already sounds like an expansion huh !

Sounds like a neat idea, I think its a step in the right direction and a pretty cool innovation. Im looking forward to seeing whats next. To me, what this "episode thing" is to games is like what tv series are to movies. I don't think it will take over, just offer a different type of play and a different way of buying games.

Yup , its sort of like Warcraft 3 actually. The orcs are more expensive but stronger than the alliance footmen. In WoW you have more alliance players but the horde players are much better. I guess its cause more "newbs" join the alliance to see night-elf booty.

World of Warcraft : : Great graphics,style,atmosphere. : More people play alliance. : Not much group action, solo most of the time with the occasional group instance. Fallout 2: : Excellent story , not linear, lots of freedom. : Action is a bit difficult and long. : Buggy, even after patch . Not much change from Fallout 1. Feels incomplete. Psychonauts : : A LOT of style, great story , very funny. : Its a platformer (not that thats a bad thing) : Meat Circus.

It isn't really a die hard fan accurate rendition its just a regular fantasy games with the named borrowed from LoTR. I liked the first game , though there were things that annoyed me it was ok overall but I thought it was pretty much repeating the same thing over and over again. Though I agree, goblins and spiders is a bit of a stupid thing but as long as the game is fun I don't really care.

It just seemed to me that crediting things going back on track to her arrival was a bit arrogant , yes it was her job so I guess it might just be me. But still , saying "I arrived and everything was set straight" (loose interpretation) seems to have a hint of arrogance. I might just be crazy though.

On the plus side homework could be "Finish Halflife 2" and rewards could be some time to play a game. Anyone think this could be a way of brainwashing students into hating games ? "You must play this game , or fail the course" ! If they kill me , tell my family I loved them.

Is demons from hell too complex a concept for hollywood these days ? Wish they stuck to the original script more . Human genome -> aliens from other dimension ? Ok.....

Though I dislike the concept of killing blacks and latinos I don't hate the thought of killing Sharon ; he isn't exactly the friendliest guy ever. There is some truth to the Jewish masters thing , not that the jews are masters but that they have great control over the media and politics. Like Bart says in the simpsons "Maybe you should become a jew, once you're thirteen CHA-CHING"

What a great link , thanks for that , really helped explain MGS 2 to me. Though I still feel it was too out there and not necessary. Mainly because Mgs was much more real and believable so that mgs 2 stabbed it in the back ; while if it was a new game on its own then it would have been more interesting and I might have accepted it. I only played the first 2 , the first one was a great great game , one of my favorites. But the second was a great game that became a mindrape at the end. I was alienated.

Most of my stuff is in my room, some cds put in the wrong cases but other than that im ok nothing goes to the attic or basement since it doesnt exist... Seems im missing a dvd, but thats not too bad

I can't really explain , I guess its not part of the popular crowd, makes no sense to me. I hope this doesn't stop double fine from making games ... if they can't I hope Tim schafer starts doing comics or books. The world must not be denied his wit.

Well , once after a long period of playing Metal Gear Solid I was really tired and got a fever as a result. I slept in the afternoon and dreamt I was Big Boss and stuff was happening.

Ah... they are wily ones ... and witty ... LIKE A FOX ! NAY ! A bunch of foxes.

It should have been nominated for best music and voice acting as well , maybe even best boss...
