  1. More videogame movie news! Buffy is Alice!

He and the March Hare did put the Dormouse in the teapot for no reason, and made Alice switch places which she found quite annoying. But other than that he was a saint, an insane saint!
  2. I downloaded it yesterday and listened to it today. It's very impressive that he did it by himself, and some of them were good, but some of them were a little... let's say eccentric. Thanks for the link, Jake. Ever heard of OneUp Studios? Their Mario remixes are some of my favorites, especially Booster Tower, and Donut Lifts.
  3. More videogame movie news! Buffy is Alice!

So... they're making a movie based on a game that's based on a book. Already much more original than Tomb Raider. I hate what American McGee did with Alice In Wonderland, it's one of my favorite books, and he just took it, made it dysphoric and monsterous, slaped his name on the title (seriously, who does that in games?) and some people called him a genius. Why? I know that some of you guys like him too, but again why? I'd maybe like the guy if it weren't for Alice. He's unoriginal and over appreciated, and this movie is going to be a sesspool of shit. Leave the Hatter alone! And I do think that Christina Ricci is better for the part.
  4. They've gone too far this time... (The Apocalypse is Nigh?)

That new Ace Bunny puts Michael Jackson to shame. I'm a huge Chuck Jones fan, and I wanted to vomit when I first saw the "Loonatics". It's pretty much what happens when the creator dies and every member that made the classic LooneyTunes great retires. Cancel this piece of garbage, X-treme or just plain bad, cancel it now! WB are a bunch of talentless avaricious bastards that can't think of an original idea if it crawled up their ass and climbed into their nitwited brain. Cancel it NOW! We should all just admire the classics and NOT over use them.
  5. So much wasted time

It's kinda like something that I "created" in the Plot-o-matic once: Guns of Mordechai: Blazing Through the Knee And Beyond An original screenplay concept by Friendly K. McSacks A renegade cop teams up with a kind hearted prostitute to take on the mafia. In the process they play Russian roulette with a super intelligent chimpanzee. By the end of the movie they shoot 5 washed up ex-SNL cast members and end up winning the admiration of their 3rd grad teacher, living happily ever after. Think Ernest Goes to Camp meets anything with Charles Bronson. Well it's... it's nearly the same. And I do find your avatar a little disturbing, LeChimp. Changing it is up to you though.
  6. Politicians to Do Parenting Instead of Parents Again

Also, crazy giraffes, and mad weenier dogs kill people.
  7. Tim Schafer loves me

I'm still thinking about what I want him to write for either my PS2 or PC copy (still haven't decided which). How does "Hey Sat! Come work for me" sound? Or "I've been inside your head, YOU SICKEN ME! GET HELP! By the way, would you like to work for me?"
  8. Guess Which Movie

    I failed, HUZZHAAA!!!!!!
  9. Retro Ads!

Didn't Nick start a thread about this site a week or so ago? Or did he? I'm so confused. Well I didn't really feel like looking through the site when Nick posted it, but now I did. http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=2517 This is the first time I've seen this one, and I think it's my favorite Video game commercial yet. http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=2507 WTF, man!?! WTF?!? http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=18 This one is just adorable. http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=2198 They got the movie voice-over guy saying "One Man", la-di-da. I didn't notice that they have the japanese Link to the Past commercial before, but there's still the matter of the most famous Video game rap of all time. How can they not have it?
  10. Guess Which Movie

I got 68 correct and 35 incorrect. Overall 66% I shall return and improve my average to over 70%, this I swear. I guessed most of them, it's kinda obvious that a movie is Air Force One when you see a picture of Air Force One.
  11. My first consoles was the Master System (It was my older brother's though), the second was the NES (again), and the third was the MegaDrive (again), but I remember very little of how I got them. Well if I remeber correctly, my brother went to a Video game store one day when he was very young and was mesmerized by a certain console that had an adorable hedgehog in every nook and crany of it. Next thing I know, he and my dad came home with a couple of rather large bags (I was maybe 5 or 6, so they were huge). My borther who has a penchant for installing things immediately rushed to the TV and pluged it in... "SEGAAAAA" was the next thing that happened, what a beautiful sound it was. Later Sonic The Hedgehog 2 title screen showed, and my brother and sister began playing co-op, I'm the youngest so it's only natural that I get screwed and will have to wait until they're finished to play it... I later had my revenge. And that's my MegaDrive story. I guess the console purchase that influenced me the most was my N64 purchase. When I was 10 I bought my first Video game magazine (I couldn't read english back then, but I liked the pictures), I knew the N64 as Ultra64 at the time and I had no idea that they revealed it (nor that they unveil consoles, I thought that video games are made by cute magic pixies back then, it's a shame that I discovered otherwise) and when I opened the nylon a Mario 64 poster droped out, it had a gameplay screenshot of Mario in real time 3-D world on it. That blew my mind, I was acquainted with 3-D graphics with my (brother's) Saturn, but actually moving around and climbing trees and best of all doing it with Mario. To tell the truth, I didn't even know if it was a game, it just looked too futuristic, so I asked my brother (who had an amazing understanding of english for his age) to read the article and he told me that it is the new Mario game on Nintendo's new system (that was apparently already out in america, but it was the first time I saw it). After months of dreaming about it my father finally got me one with Mario 64 as an early birthday present, ironically enough, I got sick that day so my brother pluged it in and played it before me. Mario 64 was still gorgeous with an excruciating headach and an upset stomach. That's when my love for video games really started.
  12. San Diego Comicon

Speaking of which, Conan O'Brien had an hilarious "news article" about that with Triumph. http://www.milkandcookies.com/links/31636/
  13. San Diego Comicon

This thread made me hungry. I guess I'll go get some Knorr tomato soup. I would like to go to Comicon, but I'm in the wrong continent (the story of my life, sigh).
  14. Vin Diesel brings Agent 47 to life

I always wanted to see The Iron Giant but there was always something in the way (like society, it's always society). Man, I want to see it!
  15. Tough customers

I buy games in a quaint little import shop in a nearby city, the guy knows me by name and I just call him and order, simple and efficient (though expensive with a tedius wait). So I don't exactly talk to game clerks, I think. There's a site that specializes in the idiocy of the Video game consumer called Acts of Gord, it's rather funny but also frustrating. http://www.actsofgord.com/Annoy/chapter01.html I would never want to work at a Video game store after reading it. Never.
  16. Nerd Shirts

I always wanted to get a "nerdy" shirt or a shirt that has something that I like on it, but because of my lack of financial funds I can't afford any (I also don't have a credit card). I especially want the Beatels Revolver T-shirt (not nerdy, but it's still an advertisment) and I still plan to get it one day. There's also a certain shirt that I had my eye on for quite sometime. And I can't even count the times that I prayed for a Mario shirt. The problem is that I can't afford them, they're just ridiculously expensive. Hopefully someday I shall have the Beatles caressing my manly bosom (that came out wrong, but still).
  17. EZ Macros

So everything is fine? I think I can give you other links but I can't know for sure if they need registering or not (I just search sites and rarely download).
  18. EZ Macros

I hope this works, I also hope that it's what you wanted. http://www.idp.net/freesoft/macros.asp
  19. Birth of a Clown - animation

I really liked it. The writing was good, and your voice sounds kinda like Kain from Legacy of Kain, the idea was also... nice, very disturbing, but nice. Good job Rodi! :awesome:
  20. Ronald McDonald Extreme!!

I never understood why McDonalds has a clown for a mascot. That thing keeps me away from McDonalds, every time I see it sitting on the bench with that twisted and ominous smile, I can't even count the times when I uttered "they want kids to sit next to that?". At least he's extreme now (with fruit). Personally I would have made a mascot named "Macie The Flamboyant Bull", he'll be kinda like the cow from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams. He'll say things like "have a taste of my rump, it's Xtremmmme!" and "I'm so delicious that I have myself for lunch, I'm Xtremmmme!". He's twich as extreme as Ronald, he plays basketball, drives a Fiat, and is a cannibal. Hardcore, thy name is Macie. I'll probably run McDonalds out of business if I was the one in charge of mascots, but it would be so cool.
  21. Neo Geo CD games worth playing?

I never played with Neo Geo CD, but I heard that King of Fighters is a fine fighting franchise. Sorry that I can't be all that helpful.
  22. Father's Day

I didn't even know that it's father's day. I guess I could do something for my dad, but that requires elephants and monkeys, and an alarming amount of alcohol. Or maybe I could just buy him the new Van Morrison album? But what has he done for me lately? (Except feeding me, clothing me, and keep me sheltered.) Man, I feel like crap now.
  23. Game adverts

I'm disappointed that it didn't have the Zelda rap (you should also check out the japanese Link to The Past commercial, it's so sad... yet oddly amusing). But it did have Psychonauts.
  24. Awesome New Mario Bros. Video

Ah Jeux-France, I can't understand you, but you deliver the goods. All I need to hear is Super Mario and I'm hooked, and the animation is fantastic. I can't wait. :9~ The only problem is that I need to save money for a DS, maybe I'll wait for the price to drop (I need to import, so it's ridiculously expensive). But I'm definitely getting one.
