I remember back in the day when I would start downloading something right before going to bed and I'd leave the computer on for the night, only to wake up the next morning to see the download at 50%.

Those are very cool. My favorite is the swimming pool one. How on earth did they do that? The guy who's stepping down, is he real? Is the whole sidewalk actually flat or are there actually two layers? Very cool stuff.

Once I got the sniper gun I started winning. I found a corner on the top floor and just waited for the bot to appear.

It'd be cool if there was a multiplayer version of that.

Well, all that I know about its publishing disaster comes from Mark Moran's website (Mark Moran was the lead programmer of TLE). -

I probably shouldn't have included Crimson Skies, but the Last Express? People might know about it here, but generally speaking, no one else does. Right before the game was first released, Broderbund's entire marketing team quit. The game was taken out of the market quite soon after its release due to some internal problems at Broderbund, and it was a massive flop. I think it certainly deserves its place in a list like this. -

Crimson Skies (PC version) Sid Meier's Gettysburg The Last Express, and a bunch of other adventure games -
This game reminded me of Outlaws. That is, I was bored to death by the gameplay, but loved the cutscenes. They were pretty funny.

My family used to own a Toyota 4 Runner, which was awesome. Then we moved and bought a Chevy Blazer, which was complete crap. Everything on it was plastic and kept on falling apart. So yeah, my experience with American cars hasn't been that great. Toyotas, though, are great.
