I drifted in and out. Got to see the fake ads and those kicked all kinds of ass. Otherwise, fuck it. I was playing Phoenix Wright.

What's the deal with Microsoft's "Project Origami"?
miffy495 replied to Marek's topic in Video Gaming
well, they start off with the swimsuit competition, the move on to the weightlifting. It's a really complicated process. I think at some point you have to wrestle a badger. -
Original or 3rd Reich? (We ARE talking about Freedom Force now, right? )
-
Yeah, but does it really matter here? As was pointed out on the main page some time ago, this has almost become a ninty fan site now. Not that there's a problem with appreciating the DS or owning one, just that marketing to people who already seem to "get it" might not be too good an idea. If that was all this person was trying for, then they either won't come back or will come back and see these responses. Either way, probably won't be bothering us again, so is a ban really necessary? It's no worse than those "Hey! Come buy some of our virtual gold!" posts that other threads get at random, and those get brushed aside pretty damn quick...

They don't tell you, but the new forth dimension will technically be known as "suck." -
Somehow the first butcher fight brought back memories of the fight with King Dodongo in Ocarina of Time for me...

Seriously? Man I got screwed with my black cases. (thought the manuals are sometimes colour.) Transparent would look pretty damn sweet up there on my games shelf.

When do you think that Bullshit lost their credibility? I've only seen a couple of episodes of season three, but I quite liked the first two. They mess it up once in a while, but they tend to be aware of their bias and alert you to it. At least they don't fuck around pretending to be objective all the damn time.

It's just such an amazing departure from the rest of the game. It adds an entire new dimension of melancholy while still managing to hold onto the carefree art style. Favorite level, despite how awesome the Milkman was. Also the one that everyone drooled over the most when they wanted to see it at my house after all the raving I'd done about it.

Snakes on a Plane (and Gnarls Barkley)

Holy crap. This movie is going to end up with an "Escape From New York" style cult following, isn't it? I'm suddenly really looking forward to it. -

well, the video showed some dude with a leatherbound keyboard (???) attached to his PC, so I'd assume that they're trying to work something out for that. I can't see it being an XBox now though. Just another crappy mini-PC. -
My god. That is so genius. Genius in the "How can we tortue players?" sense, not the good game sense, but genius nonetheless. I love Penn and Teller. Something tells me that they endorsed this out of sadism and just because they could afford to do so. all the way.

I suddenly have great love for that man. -

It's like a superpower, but you have to engulf your head in horse shit to use it. Kind of amusing to watch, but I'm glad I'm not the one who has to preform the act. -
Yeah, I've had a few of my lefty friends play the demo and once the switch was made they played damn well. They're way better at MP than at Halo, which says something for the awesome of the controls.

I'm actually quite looking forward to Snakes on a Plane. One of the crappiest concepts I've heard in years + Sam Jackson = go drunk with friends and make my very own MST3K. It is through this method that I enjoyed both Elf and Doom, so why not this? Add Stay Alive to the list as well. "1 in 4 gamers are addicted" OH NOES!!! -
Ex-Gizmondo Exec tears his car in half 162 MPH
miffy495 replied to General Fuzzy McBitty's topic in Video Gaming
Already newsed, but I hadn't heard that it was already being repossesed. This just gets better and better. It's a real blessing to not care about cars sometimes. -
I could kill a nun if you want, but you'd have to take the fall for it. Maybe if I blow up an embassy in celebration, we'll even make headlines!

What confuses me is that it was messed up enough to double post.

I'll probably be getting it, but may wait a few weeks or so first. I want to get a few reviews read before I grab it, as shooters aren't really my thing (particularly online) but I do like the MP series. And as I know you people (kinda) it wouldn't be disagreeable to have a few matches with some folks. Not like I know anyone in my area with a DS, so I gotta get my fix somehow.

Dammit. Apparently Nook is closed for renovations tomorrow, so it'll be AT LEAST Friday before I can get my hands on a shovel. Still, this first day of spring thing has really helped my bug collection. I found myself actually checking my watch at work tonight and thinking "Shit! Nook's store closes in like 15 minutes! I gotta finish cleaning up fast so I can sell those damn fish before friday." I feel slightly ashamed of this. Still, I sold the fish...

wow. That worked way better than I'd figured it would. I feel kinda bad now...

I get almost all my games used or from the bargain bin. It means I get ruffled instruction manuals, but a hell of a lot more mileage out of my student budget. As for lucky finds, I registered my copy of Half Life (I don't own any of the expansions) on Steam and it thought it was the collector's pack, meaning it let me download all of the expansions and stuff from the $60 package for the $15 I paid for just the game itself. w00ts on that.
