Yeah, catching up on missed games is fucking great. I take it from your statement that this is your second PS2, did you ever play Katamari on the first one? It was an obsession around here for a long time for quite good reason. Also, Gitaroo Man if you can find it. I dug up a game that I'd never heard of called Mr. Mosquito and I'm enjoying that as well. The PS2 is by far the best console to catch up on, so happy playing.

Looks pretty damn fun to me. Course, like with every 3D Sonic, the camera will undoubtedly find a way to fuck you over, but maybe not quite so bad this time.

Yeah, Monkey Target is always what convinces everyone else that Monkey Ball is amazing. Also, that Bomberman trailer almost made me vomit. Seriously, why? What the hell did Bomberman do to deserve this?

Well, this hasn't been put into a thread yet, so I figured I'd start one. I'm incredibly pumped for this game. Kirby, Star Fox, Ouendan are all great, but Yoshi is where it's at. After playing Topsy Turvy (totally dissappointing) and Touch n' Go (not bad if you aren't expecting a real platformer) my appetite is whetted for something real. If how New SMB and Super Paper Mario look are any indication, I'm in for a treat. I love Ninty's return to 2D platforming now. Anyway, the main reason for this thread, check out the trailer on IGN. I'm not positive, but I think Donkey Kong Junior is riding Yoshi at one point. Doesn't this create some whole in space-time? Isn't DKJr supposed to rescue DK from adult Mario? Or is this baby DK, in which case he and Yoshi should be rivals? Confusing, but looks like it could be fun. Thoughts?

Hey, it's magnified here in Canada too. Despite the fact that our dollar is currently over 90 cents US (highest in a looooong damn time) we're still paying $500 for the what's a $400 Xbox 360 package south of the border.

If it were a power up I don't see how it could possibly be more irritating for the other players than the hammer in the N64 one. The possibility of the head falling off in Melee improved it, but it was still way too powerful a pick up. Almost a guaranteed KO.

Ah, sorry. Never played Sonic Adventure 2. The first one was more than enough.

If you really want to play Rayman 2, just wait and Virtual Console it, like everyone seems to be doing with Yoshi's Island. I know the first thing I'm gonna get is Super Mario RPG, but Rayman may be a close second as I've never played it. And toblix, trust me on this one, I've been looking. I really wanted to get one for my Lite as it's not included, and I ended up having to convince my sister to give me the thumbstrap off of her original as she has never used it. Not sold separately. Maybe eBay, if you're lucky, but I don't think it likely anyone will be selling theirs now that they aren't including them anymore.

Well, Sonic Heroes, while stilll not really all that great, was the closest they'd come yet to making it work in 3D, so I'm hoping that they'll continue that trend. My main problem is: Who the hell is that woman in the screenshot? The only human has always been Robotnik, so what the hell? If I wanted some generic princess character, I'd be playing some generic fantasy game. This is Sonic for fuck's sake.

That's weird. I was watching an interview on gamespot and they said that Extraction Point would likely NOT be included in the 360 game. I wish those PR folks could keep their stories straight.

I think that was actually RE4. But yeah, the addition of the controller speaker would be amazing for the hum of a lightsaber.
