Just got it myself. Not bad, I like some of the new items. Wearable Koopa shell in particular. Anybody else playing it? Thoughts?

Hey now, be fair. Did you ever play Sonic Rush?

Frankly, your town probably kicks my town's ass. My real life has gotten in the way too much recently and the time I was devoting to AC a few months back has vanished. I don't think I've even visited in a week and a half.

Dammit. I need import. You and your fancy "Europe."

“Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan” Music Videos for the Original Songs

Wait, what? How much does Subway charge where you guys are? I get a big sandwich with lotsa stuff on it for about $8. Not as cheap as it should be, but better than $10. And this is Canadian too. Personally though, I stick to Shwarmas, as there's an awesome mediteranian place just down the street from my Subway that makes cheaper and better food. -
Sorry 'bout the harshness of all this, anti-censorship, as you seem to be a nice enough person. Problem is, this site is pretty much dedicated to a sarcastic and not-serious-in-almost-every-way view of gaming. We're all curmudgeons here, regardless of whatever age requirement there may be for curmudgeonly activity. My advice? Join in and fight back. We don't mean it and we won't be offended by your sarcasm. Clear? Good. Luck to you, and welcome aboard.

I only know some furniture. Most of it doesn't even like me.

“Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan” Music Videos for the Original Songs

I've got Band Brothers as well. It's not a bad game, but after playing Ouendan, it was just a little dissappointing. It would probably be much more awesome if I had other people to play it with. As is, I have to go single player only and it is nowhere near as fun as Ouendan. -
Is that from the American MTV? I don't get MTV Canada, but the CRTC would require them to have some original shows. I assume that other countries have similar deal. (although the CRTC is notorious for being full of jackasses...) EDIT: Upon a quick search, I have learned that Wonder Showzen is actually MTV2. As such, I must now say "Good job MTV on not having ALL your shows be shit."

Don't fear him. What about the VISITORS, man? *shudder*

I haven't heard much about goatse for a long time now. I was starting to hope the internet had forgotten...
-
That or the fact that I'm sitting down in the picture. When a 6'2" guy is standing over you, you don't typically think "Jack Black."
-
Wha? Oh god no. You're the first to make that connection. My hope is that it's the camera's fault. *shudder*

You can't buy separately and it doesn't come with. It drove me nuts too. I ended up convincing my sister to let me steal the strap off of hers as she doesn't play any games that use it.

In my experience, things preordered from Amazon ship ON their release day. I've only preordered a few things from them, for example back when Dead Like Me was put on DVD, but that's how they've always worked with me. Maybe it's just Amazon Canada.

Damn, that's a pretty sweet birthday there. Two of the better DS games, and that's saying quite a bit. If you have Pheonix Wright and Feel The Magic, you've now got the complete set. Grats, and happy birthday! (Also, if you're into imports, make sure you have Ouendan. Just saying.)
-
Damn, import it is. After the next paycheque though. I think this may be the first time that Europe gets the awesome games first. Sucks being on this side of the situation. I now can experience a fraction of your pain. As for Galactic Pinball, I'll have to look into it. EDIT: ummm... horrible VB pun not intended. Sorry 'bout that.

I tend to wear a suit jacket when I leave the house (provided it's not 30+ degree weather as it is now...) but the jeans and sitty shoes tend to temper it to a less wanker-ish look. Oh yeah. Rodi, if you're collecting, here's Captain August in CANADA. A photo featuring me, Wache, and the incomparable captain. Sorry it's the same shitty webcam, but it's all I've got access to. Also, it's only a link as I've already put my ugliness on the page earlier.

Damn, I'm still stuck in SimLinear 2. Is Progressquest any good?
-
wait... Loco Roco is OUT? When did this happen and why was I not informed?

Hell, hockey jerseys all have Nike, CCM, or whatever company logos on 'em too. Doesn't mean the game isn't great.

Given her signature, I'm not sure if I'd trust Yufster's tea...

I've had people enthuse about games I've bought too, and even about games I've recommended (actually, the entirety of my local EB played Psychonauts as a result of my telling one of the clerks how awesome it was) and check the photo thread to estimate a likelyhood of someone wanting into my pants. (HINT: not so great.) I don't run into problems very frequently, but they are very irritating when they occur. If I'm lucky it'll be me and one clerk against another though. Like buying Yoshi's Touch and Go (not incredible, but damn fun if you can get it cheap) ended up in a three way debate over the merits of Yoshi with regards to the Mario universe. It's really only one clerk that's a dick and that I ever have problems with. Not the youngest guy. I kinda feel sorry for him, he looks like a bitter ex-accountant or something who ended up having to take a job at EB after he was downsized. He's got at least 10 years on all the other employees. Doesn't really justify treating customers like shit though, just makes it a bit more understandable.

Wasn't he a character in Street Fighter?

As one who relies on used games to find the majority of his enjoyment, I sympathize. I've moved almost entirely to eBay at this point because I can't fucking stand those guys. I even got mocked when I bought GUITAR HERO new from them! "Man, I thought people who played DDR were weird..." Fuck you too, buddy, gimme my rythm game and let me leave.
