*covers ears and closes eyes* LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!!!! NO SUCH THING AS THOMPSON!!! LA LA LA! :cens0red: On the other hand, judge will probably play the game and just realize that Jack is full of shit, so no harm done.

Don't mind Steam, but already have a copy on PC. I was thinking about getting the autographed Xbox version, just so I could say that I have it, then remembered that that costs money. Money which I need to get a Wii. So now I'm conflicted.
-
Not for me. Damn, now I wish I was running a lower res. The comedy value would be exponentially increased.

I'm hyped for III, but indifferent towards XII. Maybe it's that I never played X or X-2, and have played all the others up to that point. (excluding III of course) If XII is supposed to be amazing, I'll give it a look. Otherwise, I should probably play at least X first.

2 GH Videos! Guitar Hero II strutter expert with fingering!, and playing cross arm
miffy495 replied to Tommy Gun's topic in Video Gaming
The only comment that got any kind of reaction from me when I was reading it was the one that said that he'd be embarrassed to play "Strutter" on any kind of guitar. Bastard. That song is awesome. -
Kameo: Elements of Power? More like...Excrements of...oh, forget it.

Yeah, I think that Croc wins. I had to work really hard to get my head out of the tilted "awwwww...." position. -
Incredible.

Seriously? People have that much of a reaction to your fucking hair? Maybe I've been desensitized by the crowd I hang out with, but that seemed pretty normal to me. I know at least two other people who do that. And yeah, that video that I saw was definitely on expert. I watched the bit on On The Spot where they dared what's-his-face to try it. I was able to play along competantly with your Strutter vid, but that Miserlou one just left me in the dust. -

The article says some conflicts between pinatas may prove fatal. Thus, the essential question: Will they bleed candy? I still have to play Grabbed by the Ghoulies sometime before I get Pinata though. It's the only Rare game (DKC to present) I don't have. (Haven't beaten PDZ or Kameo yet, but am working on both) -

Indeed I did. I haven't actually played along with it yet though, as I watched it before I decided to grab my SG and try it out. -

Damn you. I went looking for the demo today, but couldn't find it anywhere. Bastard. I've been playing along with the videos on Gamespot since they started posting them, I need some actual feedback from the game. EDIT: Ok, just played along with your Strutter vid. First off, I fucking love that song. Second, I'm going hunting for that demo again tomorrow, and will not come home until I'm victorious. Even though it's Thanksgiving. I will have that damn disc. -
Y'know, that's what I saw at first too. Then I remembered this one comic that I've been reading for a while and that they were doing something about a whale at the moment. Crazy shit, man.

Holy crap. That's the first time he ( ) has shown up to keep us on topic.

As my signature can attest to, I've been playing it recently. I'm alternating which game I play by days. Day one: Dead Rising. Day 2: Kameo. Repeat until one or both are beaten. Good fun. Just got Chilla in Kameo, just started the last day of Dead Rising. Progressing quite well in each. Kameo has greatly impressed me. Shows that Rare still has a bit of what made them the best back in the day. -
Nye had a GAME?

Somewhat the same deal for me. I wear a suit jacket as my standard, everyday jacket, but I make sure to offset it by wearing cruddy old sneakers that I don't bother to tie. It's all about the right contrast to keep myself from looking like a pretentious wanker. There's something about wearing a suit jacket that just feels great.

Some stylish shit there. Still, from that 4CR article, doesn't sound like it'll be hitting anytime soon.
-
Not their best, sure, but a damn good one anyway. I laughed my ass off. "Somebody's about to get pwned."
-
Go NCsoft. Couldn't name it something inconspicuous, eh? Whatever. Hard to find a better recent game for it to happen with.
-
Well, if we were smoking something, it would obviously be hot. You're still going to need to clarify here.

Hey, nothing wrong with liking LiT. I own and watch it frequently.

Holy shit. That's a hell of a story man. Thanks for the link. And to think that probably none of this would have come out if he hadn't flipped his fucking car... -
What's wrong with that? Izzard is the only comedian I can watch repeatedly in a short time span and still find just as funny. Anyway: I too often find myself bored by games that go for "Photorealistic." I remember back in 2000 reading a PC Gamer article that said that Max Payne's graphics were "nearly photorealistic" and at the time it sounded great. In the end though, what was it that made Payne worth playing? The stylized noir comic panels between levels. Nothing photorealistic about them. Looked incredible due to their style though. Ever since, I've been quite skeptical about anything that claims photorealism, as today's photorealism will be tossed aside as soon as a more photorealistic world is rendered. I'll take my Street Fighter 2 cartoons, thanks. You can see photorealism any time you want if you just turn off the damn game.

In person, not that spectacular. I had the honour of being the projectionist for a private screening of the Black Dahlia a few months back which she was at. I actually thought that she looked kinda like a friend of mine, just a bit less attractive. Remember, movies do a whole lot to sexy up a person.
