  1. sexy failures

Fun fact: Since writing that first reply, I've actually begun referring to my genitals as Arthur, Conan, and Doyle. The girlfriend is not pleased.
  2. Plain Sight

Got my invite! Hooray! Thanks, Spaff. Hopefully I'll be able to get a game in with you Euro folks as well.
  3. Grand Thumb Auto 5: Son of Thumb

I'm working Tuesday and Thursday, but could do Wednesday. Have my last exam at 8 that morning, but the rest of the day is clear.
  4. Braid

Yeah, I'm at that one too.
  5. jobs... why arent there any?

Man, I need to watch Starship Troopers again. Where'd that DVD get to?
  6. Oh man, I would totally buy Uncanny Valley Cream Soda.
  7. Grand Thumb Auto 4: Rise of the Thumb

    In both cases, Nachimir, that would have been me. Oh, and n0wak;
  8. sexy failures

I'd let her reveal plot details to my Watson. I'd introduce her to my Arthur, Conan, and Doyle. I'd let her abuse my socially-acceptable cocaine. I'd give her an Adventure of the Speckled Band. (um... ew?) I'd hound her baskervilles. ...yeah, that's the best I've got. Most of them feeble, one of them actually pretty gross. Oh well.
  9. Get juiced!

OH GOD IT'S BURNED INTO MY BRAIN!
  10. 24" HD 1080p for under £200

Yeah, the night before the new cut hit stores my local art house theater had a midnight showing of it. So bloody cool. First thing I bought (aside from Uncharted) when I picked up my PS3 in January.
  11. Grand Thumb Auto 4: Rise of the Thumb

    Toblix: Wrestlevania: Miffy495: Toblix:
  12. Also saddened to hear about the lack of entries. Having to learn how to use the creation tools during my exams was what held me back from entering. Hoping to actually make the level sooner or later. I'll post a link whenever that happens. Fear the in-jokes will be rather outdated by then. The whole thing centered around finding some glue to repair Remo's chair...
  13. Plain Sight

Signed up. Miffy495. Really got pumped seeing the trailer for this whenever it was released a while back. Excited to be a (small) part of it.
  14. 24" HD 1080p for under £200

I freaking love Blade Runner on BD, but whatever.
  15. The All New XBox Gamertag Exchange Thread!

It took maybe 5 minutes. I mostly wanted to see how it compared to the Miis. In essence, could be arsed, but only half-arsed.
  16. Grand Thumb Auto 4: Rise of the Thumb

Wednesday this week = yes. Next week, possible. Dare I say, likely? I have an exam at 8 that morning, which would mean I'd be awake (though possibly quite groggy) and home by the time that most people would be ready for a game. There is still the possibility that I will be doing some last-minute christmas shopping with the girlfriend though, so I won't guarantee anything.
  17. PC Geeks only. [Empire: Total War thread]

I never really got into the Total War series, though I really respected what they were trying to do. This may have something to do with the fact that I tried Shogun when it was brand new and got bored quickly. Never went back to the series afterwards, just watched from afar and had my interest piqued time and again by the refinements, but never enough to actually play one of the newer ones. If I have some free time over the between-term break, which do you folks recommend I give a try?
  18. Sonic: Unleashed

I hear that the Wii version is significantly different from the 360/PS3 version. If this is true, any word on which is superior? And which have you been playing yourself?
  19. With you on this one, Metallus. The length is just about perfect to last me all the time I need to spend on Transit getting to school/work on any given day, which means I get entertained for exactly the right amount of time. Maybe plus 10 minutes of sitting around at home listening to the last little bits of reader mail, but I enjoy that part too. This podcast is about the perfect length. Please don't start trimming the asides and hysterics. They're a part of what sets it apart from the less listenable podcasts.
  20. Grand Thumb Auto 4: Rise of the Thumb

Fair 'nuff. My schedule is currently in flux that week as I had to do some negotiating at work to get my birthday (the 19th) off. Soon as the schedule is solidified and I know what's up, I'll let you know.
  21. New people: Read this, say hi.

Shhh! Quiet! You'll turn it into a seldomly updated blog again!
  22. I'd be go for next Wednesday, in all likelihood. Thursday, not so much, as I have an exam during Thumb-friendly GTA times.
