  1. Distract Yourself

Remember that old feature about those little games you can dowload to mess around with for a while? Well I'm sure there must've been some additions to the genre, anything you can recommend? I've recentently been playing those falling sand games, they are pretty fun (at least for me since im pretty keen on physics-based games, realistic or not) but I'm certain there is better stuff out there.
  2. lik-sang 'jumble sale' old ninty merch.

Oh I didn't know about this site, free worldwide shipping on some items and it automatically converts the currency to your country's I know it sounds stupid to be happy about those features in 2005 but most sites fail at converting or calculating costs. so thats where you preordered your famicom gameboy micro from, spaff?
  3. Game Boy Micro? Why?

    Thanks for clearing that up
  4. Game Boy Micro? Why?

Is it me or the two different models have the name inverted in online shops? EBgames.com and Amazon both list them the same. Gameboy Micro Silver: The silver Game Boy micro includes an "Ammonite" faceplate with a dark blue swirling pattern. It also will come with a "Ladybug" faceplate that features a ladybug on a large pink gerbera daisy, and a sleek black faceplate. Gameboy Micro Black: The black Game Boy micro includes one faceplate with a "Flame" design of fiery yellow double helixes on an orange background. It also comes with a green "Camouflage" faceplate and a chic silver faceplate. It may sound superficial, but Im getting someone to buy it for me and I don't want to end up with the one with the silver faceplate in confussing. Also I am the only one that thinks that the faceplate desings are not that cool? I mean plain colors would be much better. Ok that wasnt really important.
  5. Game Boy Micro? Why?

I never had a GBA and Im getting a Micro, and so is most people here, so it doesn't look like Nintendo made a bad move. I don't think it is a fanboy console at all, nor a mere gimmick, the thing seems to work great (at least that is what previews have been saying) I was considering The Minish Cap for it, but I would appreciate some game recommendations.
  6. The positive thread

I know this is not a "currently playing" thread, but I'm currently playing Trespasser Jurassic Park. This game has been bashed a lot, but I think it had great ideas. The whole thing of actually controlling a hand and not a gun per se really adds up to the inmersion. You don't have any sort of HUD, just the character shouting out how many bullets you have left and a tattoo that shows your health. But where I feel the inovation lies is in how you can grab things and use them, and that they will act in a fairly accurate way. I think that with these things better implemented some FPS would be a lot more realistic, even a more dynamic first person adventure games can be possible, where you get the feeling you are actually controlling those weird mechanisms. Although a giant blocky T-Rex may drag you out of the experience. wow hope that made sense.
  7. Games Are Art . Com

Hey aren't you Linier's brother? Well you probably hate that "title"
  8. Psychonauts PC Demo out

I could get the game running on my GeForce 2 using 3danalyzer, but of course it was sound only.
