anybody read the timothy zahn books? now those I thought were quite excellent. also because in those the clones were actually cloned jedimasters and the whole sith thing didn't come into play because...um... Lucas invented them for the new movies... because it's way cooler to call them the Sith... instead of just dark jedis... On another note I wonder if this friend of mine is still a Jedi or if, disillusioned, he turned his back on his religious beliefs... way to go George...

well the thing is, the gorilla is clearly more intelligent than the bear, so potentially he could be a really experienced veteran gorilla (Lvl 7 or something) which would clearly give him the advantage not only through more advanced feats and abilities but also as far as hitpoints are concerned! :nerd: so clearly there are too many factors for me to answer this truthfully... in the end it's a DM decision...

yeah I always wondered about that one, now I will have to see it some time... another movie which I guess would be in that vein is Noi Albinoi, really nice!

Congratulations Metallus! So you've got the Hapland 2 solution! Care to enlighten the rest of us? In Spoiler tags of course,... pretty please?

Happy brithday metallus, thrik and emma... is she still around? if so she NEVER posts stuff anymore...

The official How Would You Seduce Yufster? thread!
lailoken replied to Intrepid Homoludens's topic in Idle Banter
Didn't the mushroom cloud suggest that Spaff had found the solution and that to me would make any further attempts futile -
So I just watched the trailer and I have to say it looks really nice. I am not so sure about the character animation but that's about it. If all those environments are actually implemented in the game I would just play it to walk around within those worlds!

so maybe we all should try to each of us come up with a list of ten unique referrals? but on the other hand, do we really want all that traffic? I would feel like a witness to the worlds shiest little baby rodent being dragged out of its shadowy comfort into the midst of a shouting jabbering multitude of human wasteproducts...

yeah I read a great review of Crash on some site... hmmmm well it sounds really good, even though the trailer is a little on the corny side to me... life is soooo dramatic... *cough* Mind Game looks incredible but the only way I would be able to see it seems to order it only via yes-asia for 42$... now that does seem a little excessive... but I will try to keep it in mind...

well I miss some games in there, in general I don't think it makes so much sense to make a list of all video-/computergames since to me (IMHO) the two are quite different for a lot of reasons I will not go into here. I am missing Strike Commander and Wing Commander, the former more than the later! EDIT: What about Elite?

ah ok, I would have really liked a Monty Python game done by the likes of Tim Schafer in a sorta FPS version...that could be insane and with a genre as established (and outdated) as the FPS it is about time we got a proper persiflage

So how are they, I had no idea these existed
-
Sex thumbs as in Sex Thumbnails? no, ok I get there is another more enticing possibility to understand this...
-
That reminds me, someone should definitely get together with the Pythons and make a game... GOD, Python humour in a computergame... hahahaha
-
seriously? you use your thumbs for the most important manipulation in console gaming (d-pad/analog sticks/ abxy buttons...) so when your thumb is idle you are currently not busy playing, where the idle is obviously only applicable if you would normally use them extensively , i.e. playing video games... *sigh*

wow, yeah I didn't even think about people who would see all the movies for the first time in order (1-6)... good point... that sucks!
-
well I have been tired of the whole concept of running around and shooting stuff since halflife... but that aside, I still think there is some good stuff in there. I would just for once like to have a game where the lame "kill all monsters in this room to proceed thing" is not used... I mean you could just make it a console you have to go into to activate something and so you have to kill the monsters (or *gasp* sentries who have an actual working routine...) so they don't molest you ... Another thing is, why does everything have to look badass? Why can't enemies be "not-monsters"...

I would expect Coach Carter to be a more streamlined version of 187 which I thought was one of the best Samy Jackson movies... apart from Pulp Fiction of course, but that to me is not really a Samuel Jackson movie...

Well I agree with Chris totally. If any advancement would have been made I would have expected the swordfights to move more into Kendo where a fight would actually be decided by one decisive blow. Watching the oldest and highest ranking Kendo master in a fight is a sublime experience that is probably beyond the "common denominator". But then I guess we will just have to live with the FACT that George Lucas chose to make a movie for kids totally alienating the audience he created with the great original trilogy.

yep, he's a dragqueen alright...

That is precisely what I meant because that is what Thornquist says in his blog...

This stuff is starting to aggravate me! Either they have something to say or they just shut up at nintendo! All these little hints and stuff... arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

I just watched the Prey HD video from Gametrailers.com... While I was pretty much overwhelmed by the size of the worlds you get to explore there is a LOT of cornyness in there. But the graphics and the physics... I find myself almost overwhelmed by the crazyness happening all around. But now I definitely wanna play it

How many of you will make a 2 headed baby in Spore?
lailoken replied to baconian's topic in Video Gaming
7 of me will probably make a twoheaded baby... the others hate these tedious games and are currently on their way to vegas to REALLY play around with some shit.. -
