Star Wars: KOTOR II The Sith Lords GOLD!!
General Fuzzy McBitty replied to ThePope's topic in Video Gaming
You never can tell with Lucas Arts. They've been known to stop production on things even when they are in the hands of people who know what they're doing. Maybe they would fuck themselves. -
I agree with disabling stolen things, but I don't think it's fair to ban things that are legit. Many of them (at the steam board) are saying it's like a fine for a crime, and comparing it to theft from a store. Bottom line: If you tried to steal that game from Best Buy today, they'd let you go, because it's not priced high enough to prosecute.

This thread was here first, and not all of of have finished enough of the game to go there.
-
Also, is there a way we can add buttons to the main page so that we can go to the last page of the topic from there?
-
I did it at around 530 pm EST. For the first hour and 15 minutes it wouldn't accept my steam ID. I was pissed. This is why I rate steam

Thanks for the reminder. On the issue of the train: Here's another question:

Can someone please use the spoiler box to remind me what happend at the end of HL1. It's been a few years, and I forget.
-
It took me an hour and a half on the first day because of the overload. But yes, it downloads files to unlock the game.

*Rant* One of the few things that really bother me about new computer games is the complete lack of packaging for CDs. Even a Jewel Case is a good thing. When you pay upwards of $60 dollars for something, the box should not just contain some cds in paper envelopes. What happend to cases and manuals? Theif 3 really impressed me, because it had a DVD style case. I know this seems kinda stupid, but I like it when I get stuff like that. Hell, I'm still angry at the way WB packages DVDs. They always use cardboard. I don't like paying alot of money while the people I'm giving the money to are being cheap bastards.

You're probably right. On a lovely side note, I just walked past the car that they put in the spawn on Dust.

The robot was called dog, yes. Nade timing is an issue, yes. The only time I have a hard time with explosives is when they're comming so fast I'm bound to run into one. My only annoyance so far is that CS:S doesn't feel finished. Yes, what is there is polished, but it's still missing several things. Things I'd like to see: 1. More player skins (given that this isn't a fan mod, it should have been released at least somewhat complete). 2. More maps. 3. I was hoping for at least a few more guns, given that all it is is a graphically enhanced mod. 4. I wish they would let you pick things up so that you could build baracades without using all of your ammo. Things that rock: 1.The way glass shatters in office. 2. Nades and Flash Bangs.

Also, I agree that the load times are a bit excessive. Especially when you consider that half time it occurs durring a crazy chase scene with the exciting music.
-
Someone needs to make a multi player grav gun mod.
-
Is there a way to make them give me decent PC game cases?
-
I managed to flup the boat over so badly that it got stuck under a rock.
-
I dont even keep cardbaord boxes. HL2 has 2 types of boxes, but what's the point when I'm just going to throw it out?
-
Curse you europe! It really does anger me that I don't get functional packaging.
-
Well, I used some trash can like things stacked on top of each other to try to climb something.... but I ended up walking on top of the scenery.
-
Doh. As soon as I read that I knew exactly what to do. I didn't realize I had to throw them in the water. Laugh at me as you read things that I tried.
-
You know, I probably spent the first 10 minutes of game time last night doing this
-
Nevermind. it's too large.
-
how do i upload it?

Spoiler Warning:

My first impression is that the way you can interact with everything is awesome. It reminded me of why I loved Deus Ex. I love throwing things at random people.
