I remembered that in vice, but I can't seem to figure out how to approach a taxi without car jacking it.

My problem is that any time I have to finish something in one car, I'm screwed, particularly the long cars that don't roll well.

Back in the days when I played ultima online, we used a program called EZ Macro to do the really annoyingly repetitive tasks. I want to use it to do the workouts in GTA, because all of that keyboard mashing makes my fingers hurt. The trial version that I have, 5.0, is much more limited than the one I used to have, which may have been 3.0. Anyone seen it or know where I can get it? The limit for repeted actions is 100 on 5.0, and the one I'm used to had none.

GTA doesnt like that. so much for that idea. looks like it's finger pain for me

Actually, it's version 4.... though it claimed to be 3. And it still only lets me repete 100 times. but it's ok. I'll use it

I was initially sceptical about their registration.... because im paranoid like that... and why would htey need my phone number. So I just bsed all the stuff. I thought they'd be sending a confirm email to monkeyball@monkey.com.... but they let me download.

Anyone know a reliable place to get one of these? I don't trust places I've never heard of usually.

Also, remember that you can make millions on horse racing in the first city. I made 30 mill that way.

I beat that on ps2 accidently by falling off the bike and landing on the train. On the pc version, I can't get past it

Well shit. I never saw a blue in PS2 and I don't think I've seen a yellow yet. That shows how much attention I pay.

Hmmm. Oddly enough the yellow gang from the first city on PS2 is now light blue.

I'm saving to rebuy the house I had in Balla turf on the PS2. I get a pistol and kill Ballas until the cops show up. Then I cap them too, and get in the cop cars for the shotgun. I mastered the shotgun and pistol this way on PS2.

I'm not sure. If it was, I just noticed it with this one. Still, I find it a bit irritating given that everything else in the city is fairly well laid out. I also like how a cop can be chasing gang bangers doing drive bys, but if i accidently nudge a person, they break off and come after me.

One thing that irritated me about the PS2 version that continues to irritate me about the PC version is that if a Balla shoots me in front of a cop, nothing happens to him, but if I return fire I get a star, and the cop attacks me. The only way to get police assistance is to walk behind the cop and use him as a human shield.

Where do you get one of these magical things? Edit: I should have been clearer. How do I get a PS2 controler for my PC?

The map hud is one of the things that I thought REALLY needed redone on the PS2, and the PC release definately helped. I can actually tell what all of the icons are supposed to be now. I've already gotten CJ looking as much like Mr. T as I can afford. He's as buffed as can be and has a beard and mohawk.

Also, boxing now sucks. In PS2 version, you were able to alternate between regular attack and boxing moves. In order to do boxing moves now you have to press return, which really really really complicates things while using a mouse. As far as I can tell changing binds does not fix this.

The only way people get screwed by HL2 is through blatant piracey. IE: giving out your steam download ID to mass pirate the game over the internet.
