Hmm, I also think that the Adventurer is more greedy than prideful. :| -

Didn't he also direct the latest Star Trek film? This will either make fans pee their pants or get very angry... which seems to be the only settings most fans have anyway.

The sound? Really? That was my biggest downer, unless my version is glitched all I heard was ambient wind blowing and a few notes in special levels, like I said before my game was way too silent for DF game. -
Even if they released it in it's current state, it would be a million times better than the WarZ fiasco.

Hmm, what happens when a game gets Greenlight but fails at it's Kickstarter? And how can you get enough votes for Greenlight but fails to get enough for Kickstarter anyway? It looks like we'll find out with Akaneiro. They are trying to Greenlight Bone Town by putting clothes and possibly completely censoring it? That sounds so stupid.... in an awesomely terrible way? La-Mulana finally got Greenlight so I'll stop whining about it. I already have Unepic and DLC Quest from indie bundles, so I suppose I'll get them when they are released too?

I finally beat King's Bounty: Armored Princess! The first time I played it, I didn't get it, cheated and ruined it, so I quit. But this time, I actually understood it better and got into it. When I started the Wizard snobbery thread, I thought I hate bad wizards, but with this game I realized I didn't mind how weak you are at first if you can go from Rincewind to Gandalf The White. The game seems so well balanced and thought out in that aspect, just when I'm feeling useless, I always get a new troop or spell that changes everything. In the end I had dragons and archdemons, due to the mobility and "tankness" and I was ridiculously powerful as a wizard. But my only main complaint (apart from me being stupid and not noticing that Crossworld was an expansion to this, so I should have played that) was that the best troops are level 5 and most spell don't affect them at all. The world was pretty great, with each island having a theme, my favorite was the goblin island mostly for their look, although I kinda ignored most of the generic fantasy story with it's huge wall of text... I hope the new game is just as good... and has more dragons in it, gotta have dragons! :3

The Cave: Ron Gilbert's Double Fine Game (A Tim Schafer Production) (Not Double Fine Adventure)

Well, I know who to pick for my next playthough. Since the game has 7 characters just like Maniac Mansion, some call it a spiritual sequel... Who do you think is "the Jeff"? (You know what I mean.) -

About six hours, but the game went faster as I understood the puzzles better. -

Well, I beat the game.... I think the game has TOO much replay value, 7 characters who can all have two different endings? That's a bit much.... Yes, there are TWO endings for each character. The game is filled with references, but I found them subtle enough, as in you couldn't even tell what they were if you hadn't played the game..Just in case someone wants to find themselves, I'll put them in a spoiler: Since I can't access the other areas I suppose they might have their own references? This wasn't "OMG! BEST GAME EVAR!", but it was great, it had some less interesting parts and I still can't over on how little dialogue and music is in this game, but I will at least try to see the other character's levels... Just not right now? -

Did anybody reach ? I wonder if the non-character specific levels are somewhat random? I think the levels in the game are the same, except you can't access them all? I could swear I passed the knight and future girls levels at least. -

I picked the scientist, adventurer and twins and yeah, the twins are also my favorite so far. I actually heard some music in the game, but it's still the generic background music that's chill, but forgettable. :| Does the game end once you do all the main levels for each character? -

I don't like the game's obsession with threes, it seems each "level" is "solve these puzzles to get three items to get to the next level", the very first "puzzle" is choosing which three characters to take with you. :| -

Well, I wouldn't say "no music" it's just a low ambient thing you barely notice or care for, it might as well be silence compared to any other Double Fine game. But seriously, I can barely hear or notice it. -

Geez, this play has gotten very quiet since the actual game has been released, either every can't stop playing it or you hated it so much you don't even want to talk about it. This game is way to quiet... No music, and the dialogue is way to sparse between puzzles, I'd rather have the cave berate me for sucking and dying with the same lines that so much SILENCE! Also, I'm going to try to play with a controller, it seems a bit frustrating with the mouse and keyboard... Or the controls are terrible. The puzzles have been good so far though... I didn't even know my character had abilities and I haven't had the need to use them yet. EDIT: OH GOD! It's so much better with a controller! I also finally used an ability to solve a puzzle for the first time. -

So he's the kind of reviewer who never says: "While I do not enjoy "X", I can see how many would because "y""? But we didn't call it DLC back then, right? They were just called expansions as far as I can remember. -

Did DLC even exist back then? In those days expansions were still on discs! -

The Cave is late on Steam and RPS doesn't have a good first impression... -
Apparently, there is Director's Cut of Divinity II with a debug menu which can change many things in the game. It has a "mage" button, which takes away the cool down time for spells, making playing as a magic user actually fun for me, before I had to cast spell and try to stay alive with my puny strength until it was available again, which sucked... Oh and you can turn into a dragon and fly around burning things later on. The world was interesting enough, it was no Skyrim, but it did have some interesting points. One of the more interesting side stories has you solving a murder case in a house of negotiable affection. My only main complain about the game now is that you have to use mind reading to find hidden switches and treasure. The hidden button that opens the secret wall doesn't even exist until you read the mind of the person who knows about it.

Noooo! Why did you say that, now I'm going to be bummed out if that doesn't happen.... :| -
I started reading some of these ebooks I got from indie bundles. I seem to have bad luck since the last ones I read had the same theme and sucked. The Heretic was marines vs. demons and it felt like I was reading a bad F.E.A.R. novelization, the next one was about a "damned" cowgirl fighting demons. She could not have a worst introduction, she just tortures a guy who was holding his gun for no reason and she uses nightmarish ghosts to nearly drive him insane or kill him... I struggled through it until she met some demonic werewolf who claims she has amnesia and they were lovers... And then I deleted the ebook. I have the same sensation when dealing with my game backlog, after a few bad ones in a row I kinda don't want to continue until I find a good one, except I have no idea if these books I got from the bundles are any good. I swear to God if I have to read another book about guns and demons I will scream.

I think I'm on the "Your first is your favorite bandwagon", I could never put MI 3 or 4 before any other game in the series mainly because I have them in Spanish and well... our voice actors are terrible. I'm sure I'd love Mi 3 in English, but I'm sure it's not easy to get your hands on.
