So... the Secret of Monkey Island is that Tim is an Elvis fan?
-
I just beat it, I played it on easy because I suck at RTS, but maybe it was too much? With the guitar solo powers alone the battles can end pretty quickly. I'm not sure if it will satisfy you, there aren't that many actual battles in this game, specially if you don't count the ones where you just defend yourself. Like always, I love the world and the lore, so I'll probably go get some more things on the map, but I'm pretty much done with the game. Mind you, they haven't optimized the RTS controls for PC, so it's actually better to play with a controller.

I just noticed that most Tim Schafer games have someone yelling "Clambake" while riding a vehicle.... is this some American slang I don't understand? I actually asked him on Twitter and he made a joke... I think it's just his made up swear word, like when people say "Oh, Sugar!"?
-
So.. is anybody apart from me re-playing the PC version or playing this for the first time? I'm quite surprised to say I'm nearly at the end... And I'm doing the side quests too.
-
Yep, it was El Shaddai. I don't see a Rockstar game going cheap no matter how good this sale is.
-
Hmm, it seems it was some performance issue and not a control issue because the controls are better now... The driving isn't, but the races are easy? What surprises me the most is that how long it takes for the game to have and actual RTS battle, I've been playing for a few hours and I'm still doing missions getting new troops, I remember there are more, but I don't remember if I need them all before the first battle.
-
So... I started playing this today and it certainly looks better than the 360 version, but the controls on the tutorial area at least were worst than a bad PS2, and I forgot how terrible I am at rhythm games.

O.K. I'm not used tot superhero comics, but I have to ask this... is it normal or bad that when I read a comic it's blatant to see the "clones"? I just read a comic where the "Joker clone" even uses the Joker gas that makes your face grin like the Joker forever and the Superman clone was even picked from a capsule and adopted from farmers!

I was thinking about the game some more and it not's only how repetitious the levels are, it's character's themselves. they only have two special attacks per character during the whole game, leveling them only let's you add special stats to the attack, which means you can do crazy stuff like making a stomp attack that heals, but... You still only have two attacks per character. A minimal moveset would be O.K. for another, shorter, genre, but this is an RPG, dammit!

The Cave: Ron Gilbert's Double Fine Game (A Tim Schafer Production) (Not Double Fine Adventure)

I just found out that the bucket can be used in the twins level, I doesn't help that much, but it's something... The recorder seems to disappear after the zoo level so I can't use instead of the parrot. I still have to get the Knight's bad ending, so I might use him for the "No death" playthough. -

Huh, so that actually works? I might try it again, but Brutal Legend is re-released today, so you know what that means! XP -
Damn, the one game I want doesn't seem to "on demand" in Europe, but it seems this sale does apply to Europe too.
-
Well, sometimes I like to take one bite before opening it... XP

I'm not sure, but I think the game used to think you're playing co-op if you used a gamepad and these achievements didn't unlock before the fix? -

I thought the only bugged achievements were the ones with "one player only" in them? PS: I don't care what people say, I'm going to try to use Cheat Engine to get the no Death one, I'm no expert, but I'm hoping it's not just a binary "You died" and it's "Number of deaths", because screw No deaths chivos. -

Damn, checking the stats on Steam is depressing, seeing how many choose the knight and how little people have actually completed the game makes me thing they quit because you couldn't kill stuff in the game. It's strange to see that the Hillbilly is the second favorite... Did they expect him to have a boom stick or something? -
I haven't played any AC games since II, but I'm hoping that since it's a portable version it won't be 90% fluff like I hear the AC III version is?

Does anybody here read Dark Horse comics? They have a super mega bundle sale with almost all their hero comics at their site. The Ghost seems interesting?

I'm pretty sure you're joking, even if you could give the postcard to the hermit and that somehow makes him not get into the boat... you still have to get the boat to the other side of the island. -

GASP! What if... the Hillbilly can hold his breath underwater for exactly 10 minutes? He could be a descendant from Guybrush! (Yes, I know this is silly...) I'm also trying to figure out which items or characters can be used to make so parts of the game easier, it seems the Hillbilly is the only one whose powers aren't used again out of his stage, the Monk and Timetraveler game break the game and items can be reused later in the game. I can't really think of other items you can use to make the game easier. -

Huh, I just got everybody out of the cave... I didn't realize that -
OK, PSN just keeps giving me so many games that I kinda have to buy a Vita now, the just gave me another free game because they delayed the Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault which I got since it's a cross buy game. I assume the 4G won't last much and that I'll need a bigger one, the only game retail chain around here has an offer where you get a game with the card, one of them happens to be the game I got for free (RC Motorstorm and the other options are Little Deviants and Everybody's Golf. I think they have Vita with Assassin's Creed III Liberation bundle, which Miffy is making sound awesome.

You could always give them away to a friend that doesn't play that much? Damn, Steam is giving me the same message for codes I know I've redeemed and those I know I haven't... So there is a chance I'll give you the wrong code or maybe even that I only owned one code and thought I had two, but here is the list anyway: -The Path -Unmechanical -Avernum: The Great Trials Trilogy (I'm not sure about this one) -MacGuffin's Curse -Home (I think I might have given this away already) -Geneforge Saga (I'm not sure about this one either) -The Void -Jolly Rover (Once again, I think I may have traded this already) -Zeno Clash -Blackwell Trilogy (Not sure about this one) -I have extra copies of Ben There and Dan That and Time Gentleman, Please, but everybody knows it's illegal not to own them, right? ;P -Titan Quest -Saints Row the 3rd (I'd rather trade it) -Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War (Ditto) -Gish (It's greyed out it HAS to be unreedemed!) -Voxatron Bundle (Greyed out at Humble Bundle) -Humble Bundle 2 & 3 -Windowsill -Lucius -King's Bounty: The Legend -Tropico 3 I think that's everything.
-
JEEESUS! I had a full IndieRoyale Bundle unreedemed! I'm going to try a game that probably won't be that bad if Steam "eats" the code, but I have ask about the trading because I just noticed I got Warhammer 40K with the THQ bundle, but I tend to suck at RTS games, I know I'll regret redeeming this code, but I just don't want to give away. At the same time, it looks like it's only 7€ at Steam, so asking for a trade seems stupid. *shrugs* Either way, I'll update or edit this post with the other games I have, but here is what I have in my Steam inventory: -The Tribble game... I mean DOTA 2, and LOTS of them. -Shadowgrounds -Sol Survivor. -The Ship -AirMech 2 -Cthulhu Saves the World -Breath of Death VII -Serious Sam HD: The First Encoutner -World Basketball Manager 2010 -Half-Life 2 and Epìsode 1 (Does anybody NOT have this in their inventory?)

Unfortunately X-Com is the only one I don't have yet, but that is a sweater deal. I don't really care about TF2 items...
