I'm pretty sure this thread is for beaten games, despite the "misleading" name and I doubt 90% of the posts here are from games with 100% completion, not to mention many will disagree on what 100% completetion really means. :|

I've watched a bit of anime while playing FF 9, the Persona 4 animation is as good as the game it's based on, but... Was the ramen delivery girl in the original game or exclusive to the anime? I don't remember her at all! It's fascinating how they crammed that massive game in one season, although they kinda cram all the "social" stuff in one episode... It's also hilarious to see every woman fall in love with the main character like in the game, also... NANAKO! I finally watched Gurren Lagann and while I love the first season, I quit during the beginning of the second one...

I'm cautiously optimistic? O.K., maybe a little more than that, but like always it's too say to say anything. :|

Yeah, but I never noticed something like a "Rico Smellic" saying how much he wants to stop being a criminal while mugging a granny or something sandbox specific. Was the zombie game making fun of zombie games? I always thought it was jumping on the bandwagon. And which game does the septic tank one parody?

They made Risen 2, which will worry everybody else, but excites me!

I had no idea Ron Gilbert was only going to stay with Double Fine until The Cave was finished... He should totally join WadjetEye just to have all game dev Gilberts under one roof, it would also be kinda funny. I just hope he's joking about match 3 game he says he's going to make.

Guys, if you knew the Secret of Monkey Island, every thing they did would make a lot more sense... But I heard Tim refused to give Putt-Putt a parking space at the studios, which might have mad Ron a bit miffed.

I finally beat Knytt Undergroun and boy did my opinion of the game 180º! I'm surprised nobody hazed more for saying bad things about a Nifflas game, but I really love the game now. Sure I don't like the black foreground and fourth wall breaking with Nifflas, but I really like exploring in this world. It feels really satisfying when you pull a ridiculous stunt or find a hidden secret, which the game has in truck loads. The side story do add up and the seems to affect the characters in the game in some way or another.

I find this discussion on the migration patterns of the Grumipius Gilbertus fascinating. I think he just migrates to iOS games for the Spring. :|

I wouldn't say they are over, they just moved from "mascot games" to sandbox games and slowly got less terrible.

You know, I'm pretty sure almost every game had terrible racing sequences back in those days, it was the escort mission of that era, only worse. I remember playing Haven, which is similar to the whole " PS2 mascot" series in gameplay and I could never beat it because of a bloody race.
