  1. Virtue's Last Reward

I recently found out that the US version has English voices, but I do like the Japanese ones better. 999 had at least some sections that felt like an adventure game instead of a visual novel with puzzles breaks, like the ice puzzle. In VLR you just put memory cards in tablets and assemble key part.... I kinda like combining items logically. It's amazing how Alice is the "Lo-tits" of the game in such a similar way...
  2. Sonic Devouring Tails

Um, I'm pretty sure you can type any word and get something disturbing,,,, I've searched for fanart of very obscure shows for kicks and only found the fetishy disturbing kind. Remember Braindead 13? There is a guy on Deviantart that does but draw Lance and Fritz.... and this person "ships" them. :|

They didn't change anything at all? I though the Vita version added some extras at least? Whoa! You have the FM Towns version? Even if that's emulated, that's pretty hardcore! I beat Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and it was a world apart from Contracts. I could actually hide a body without getting it found magically! And in this game it feels just great when you managed to pull a hit without raising and alarm, but the best is that it's still fun to play in a "non-stealthy shoot everyone" way, with no health refills and limited saves, both options are a fun challenge! The most fun part was finding out I could shoot through keyholes! That really changes up a lot of the game, except I can't wait to get to Blood Money! :3

I just beat Hitman Contracts HD and... I don't really know what to think? I'm relatively decent at Metal Gear and Splinter Cell, but this is just so different. Since you are a hired hitman a pacifist run is impossible I presume, but is it me or stealth just optional in this game? The worst part about this game is there is no rhyme or reason to how guards find bodies. I hid one at my hideout, they somehow found it... I was still carrying it and they STILL "found" it, yet I could see no guard. Sometimes the guard just magically run to body even though it wasn't in their patrol path, they couldn't see it from their position and I used the silencer and sometimes this frustrates me so that I just give up on stealth and kill everybody. It does feel satisfying when you manage to pull a "professional" job, even though I can't fathom why I wasn't caught, sometimes the body you don't bother to hide is never found, sometimes the body you dragged all the way to start of the level where there are no enemies is found. I still have the rest of the trilogy to play before PSN+ rewards us with the last game, but I hope the AI in the other games work better than in this one. Oddly enough, while I freaked out when I saw I had limited saves, in the end I never needed half as many saves.

The first game is more unpolished than this one, the only thing you are missing is know who everybody is that appear in the later chapters of the game, also.... DRUGGLEJUGG!
  6. PS Vita

I just played the Soul Sacrifice demo... I didn't know it was a Monster Hunter style game, those are really not my style of game.
  7. anime

I think I did see that one is it the one where I have very vague memories, I watched this on VHS, that's how long ago it was. :|
  8. anime

Either I didn't watch or mentally blocked some of Evangelion... I'm pretty sure I watched what was supposed to be the ending, but I recently found out fans hated it so they made what the fans "wanted", Shinji masturbating on a comatose Rei... what?!? I'm kinda scared of watching Evangelion now. Either way, has anybody watched Little Witch Academy? It's from the same studio as Panty & Stocking and Gurren Lagaan and it's on their official YouTube channel with subtitles!
  9. Internet Comics

Oh man, Spinenerette has been on my "To read" list for a while.... I almost forgot about it! Speaking of cheesecake comics, Keenspot has gotten a metric ton of them since the last I visited them. They are hilariously cheesy! I don't what people think when I read comics with scantly clad women, those are the comics that tend to have the most stupid awesome terrible great cheesy things happening in them. Except Sharky, which is cheesy in a much less stupid and embarrassing way, it's just very 90's?
  10. Link 2 The Past: 2 Past 2 Furious

Like always, I'm cautiously optimistic until it's out. The original is my favorite Zelda and probably the one I played the most, so I guess I won't mind playing this again? I don't remember the last Mario game I bought, I haven't bought the latest Kirby game since it wasn't released in Europe, but I'm pretty sure I can't say no to Zelda... :|
  11. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

I preferred the old "Joker's Daugther" she looked dumb in a cheesy fun way... By the way, did anybody else take advantage of Comizology's 700 free issues of Marvel comics? They are nearly all #1 to get you into the series, but thanks to it I discovered Pet Avengers.... which has a Frog Thor. HUZZAH!

I beat Uncharted Golden Abyss and it was hard for since I seem to pretty much fed up with any games with guns in it, fortunately this is only partially a "gun game". It looks as good as the PS3 version, only it's constantly stopping you to do things with the Vita... The fact that Sully is barely in this game also doesn't help.
  13. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

I'm kinda confused to find out this exists and it's already coming out... I'm also confused to see people excited by a "retro inspired" game like this yet everybody forgot about Double Dragon Neon, which was as absurd as this look but with punches. I'm glad it's a stand alone game, I'm pretty likely to get this then.
  14. Catherine

I kinda forgot about this game and I just found out that it's one of next month's PSN+ rewards! Huzzah! :3
  15. PS Vita

Oh, I had no idea you could do that... Man, Guacamelee is awesome so far, but like Miffy said it's very reference heavy, but the referential humor from Drinkbox has improved since Mutant Blobs and it's not as ridiculously in your face.

I beat Pid, it's a cute physics platform game where the "gimmick" is creating columns of light that levitate items. My main issue is that you don't really need to collect anything, the stars buy usable items which you can find anyway or get by defeating enemies and you barely need them... unless you want to find more stars? The best moment is when the city was in high alert and robots were everywhere, but the game lulled and it was never that intense action-wise, just more puzzley.

OK, I got the real ending and....

I just got the REAL real ending of Virtue's Last Reward and.... I think I liked 999 better. I'll have to re-open the specific thread to talk about it because, I don't want this to turn into a VLR discussion, that's what the other thread is for...
  19. PS Vita

Some of the games that are crossbuy seem to look better on the Vita simply because of the resolution and the OLED screen, you no longer see the "jaggies"? I think that's the term.
  20. Crytek Cevat Yerli: Graphics Are “60% Of The Game”

Their games might be "beautiful", but I haven't been able to complete a single one of them due to how boring I find them. I'm pretty sure I've played game that looked "bad" but were still immersive. What? What does the physics, sound have to due with the graphics? And "stylistic" doesn't imply "good graphics". I'mma gonna play some ZZT, now that had some good "graphics". ¬_¬
  21. Flashback

A part of me is wondering if this would be a good way to give the game another go since I suck at the original...
  22. PS Vita

Man, I can't wait to play another Ys game, it was the PSP games that got me into the series!
  23. Flashback

If you're having trouble getting your hands on the PC version, look for the Delphine collection, it has this, Another World and a few of their adventure games. I could never beat the game, it's like Prince of Persia with lasers, only harder.
