Hmm, it's only 30€ on PSN now, but after reading what people are saying in this thread I'm not so sure anymore. Apart from the Persona series, Adventures to GO, Lost Odyssey, Y''s and Trails in the Sky, I haven't been able to get into any other JRPGs. Unless the pacing is Monster Hunter slow and the characters are modern Final Fantasy annoying, I think I will enjoy it?

Yeah, I finally dusted off my 3DS for the LEGO City Undercover game, and soon I'll be getting Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion. I guess I can enter that special offer Nintendo has in Europe then for a free game? How bad is the 3DS Castlevania? Rune Factory 4 is tempting, but I don't know if it will scratch the same "itch" the older Harvest Moon games do.

Exactly, people are acting like this is one of "those" games that has a collector's edition with a special "pillow case", this isn't Ikki Tousen or Seran Kagura, guys. :|

I wonder how many Pokémon are ride-able? Can I enter town riding a majestic Magikarp? Does this mean we probably don't need the bike anymore?

I somehow not only completed Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, but I got all the achievements.... I dunno why, this game is basically "Eat Lead: Neon Edition". I already said that people who kept claiming this is "SO 80'S!" and "SO CHEESY IT'S AWEOMSE!" are crazy, it's just an FPS with Daft Punk cosplayers and a neon filter, it only gets a bit good right at the end, but it was too late to redeem itself. And by "Eat Lead" I mean that game were constantly have to do things you hate to do in games, and then it's funny to make you do it anyway but it points out how stupid it is.

I just witnessed their "best joke" so far... You have kill turtles in a sewer! HA HA HA! It's probably the closest thing to an actual 80's thing in the game and the closest thing to a joke, but they couldn't be subtle and they had to make sure the sewer was filled with pizza and the turtles had "masks", because heaven forbid we have to actually connect the dots to make the joke. :|

Woah, don't put Bratz with those other shows, at least W.I.T.C.H. and Winx Club had some action with the whole being half Sailor Moon, half Harry Potter. But yeah, you can already tell they will be "BOOOOYZ" from the trailer, I just hope they don't go the "SHOOES!" and "FASHION EMERGENCY!" one too. :|

I've played more and.... this seems like "Eat Leat (remember that game?) Neon Edition" and with 80's stuff decided by a committee that wasn't alive or doesn't remember it well. "Just add old TVs, bad animation, VHS tapes, robots and neon colors, that'll do!" The jokes are Eat Lead-ish since it's "Don't games suck when they do this?" and forcing you to do it anyway, the notes seems to be about how the bad guy wants to bone the "sexy doctor", the robots look more like Daft Punk than anything from the 80's, the tapes will unfortunately have no clips on them are just movies they made that they think would exist in the 80's and would be funny, but wouldn't and aren't.... It's not cartoony enough too be an 80's cartoon and it's too "cartoony" to be a movie, even a terrible one.... People who say this game is awesome are saying it is because it's 80's (which it isn't) and because it's so dumb it's awesome, like Deadly Premontion, which it isn't, they just added a neon filter and some "meta" jokes... "LOL, we spent all our budget on colored text!", "Lol, sirens are loud!", "LOL, AREN'T WE RANDOM AND HILARIOUS!".

Too bad it didn't get picked up for another season, but I still think the MLP movie was made to compete with Monster High, Monster High is more for tweens, and the MLP characters in the trailer LOOK like Monster High characters, only a little less "bedazzled", they have the same ridiculously long legs and skirts. Geez, if this thread gets any more ponified, we'll start talking about Snowdrop and My Little Dashie. *shrugs*

I finally started to play the game and... I don't get it... Everybody is yelling that this is so 80's but... why? It almost seems... mean spirited? The cutscenes are so lazily animated that even Filmnation would call them out for being lazy and the android look like Daft Punk... It feels like what people who weren't alive in the 80's taught the 80's was like? It doesn't remind me of the 80's or 90's that much. :|

Well.... I'm pretty sure they want to compete with , it's ridiculously popular in many countries.

Nevermind, I just found that if you I think the game is over now and this is no Frog Fractions, I still think this is more like an ASCII Kingdom of Loathing than an ASCII Frog Fractions.

That's about as much as I lasted... I don't know if this count, but I technically quit Retro City Rampage on the Vita, I already beat the Steam version, but this looks great on the Vita, they actually updated the game and made it less frustrating... that is, until you reach the final boss, which is the worst thing ever, I refuse to put myself through that part of the game again. :|

Well, yeah, she's an "official" background character, but that's her official name. She may even appear in games and toys, but they never call her Derpy Hooves, because it would upset their parents I presume?

Um, Derpy Hooves is not her canonical name, it's name every fan uses, but it's not her real name and after she spoke one line, she was relegated to a very well hidden background character. Just ignore what the crazy fans say... They "made" one background pony an alcoholic because she had grapes as a cutie mark and one is Dr. "Whooves" because he has an hourglass as his cutiemark. ¬_¬ And how is this pandering to adults males? I watched the original show when I was a kid and it has villains and action very regulary, it was like a regular action cartoon show, but with ponies, think Gummi Bears with ponies, only less well written and animated.

When you get a road in the middle of nowhere, how far are willing to go to find a clue? Sometimes the Google Maps images don't have a high enough resolution to be able to read the signs, but at least if you find a house you can take a guess by it's architecture?
