  1. Catching up with you "retro wishlist".

So, do you simply not have older games that you want to play or have you played most of the older games you wanted to? DS games are still in stores, so they are not that hard to find.
  2. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

I refuse to watch the videos until I play the game, I like to watch the "extras" after watching the "movie" and not the other way around if that makes any sense.
  3. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

That reminds that I'm tempted to try other versions of the games, the C64 version or version 1.1 of Maniac Manion, the Sega CD version of Monkey Island and such... of course, I'd need to emulate them, but since I own a version or two I wouldn't feel too guilty.
  4. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

Loom is great, if you don't have the original manual you'll need a place to write down spells and that should be enough to keep you safe, I don't think you can mess up in this one?
  5. Discworld

What are those green novels in that image you posted, Tegan? I've never even heard of those books and I though I read them all!
  6. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

I really hope they can get the funds with the early access system, but I wonder how many people missed out on the Kickstarter are the early access kind of people?
  7. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

I'm tempted to reply some of the Lucasarts game I haven't played to death yet. I'm pretty sure I've only play Zak McKraken only once.
  8. Nintendo 3DS

I don't think I've never NOT liked a Harvest Moon game, I may have not beaten them, but I liked them a lot. As a matter of fact, I recently beat Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. It was kinda like the futuristic Harvest Moon, except you have monsters you befriend tending the crops instead of the robot, my only BIG complaint is that you have to beat the game to get married and even they force to do a very time consuming quest which I couldn't be bothered with. It seems Europe isn't getting the new 3DS Harvest Moon game until the end of August and the Tale of Two Cities one exists only digitally in Europe? I would be tempted to get it, but since I just beat Rune Factory....Yeah, I'd rather wait.
  9. PS Vita

How is Everybody's Golf? With the name it seems obvious, but is it like the Sega or Nintendo Golf games? Is it a fun game for people who probably will never like or play real golf? I bought a fishing game on the Vita last week that "looked" fun, but it was too technical and serious to be fun.
  10. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I hope my club LOL opens soon, so that I'll have some "emotions" to communicate with others.
  11. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

Isn't that how many Sierra games played in their later days? I mean the taking away the dead ends part.
  12. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

It's pretty frustrating, but in some ways easier than the original game? But yeah, it sucked.
  13. Am I stupid for not knowing this after playing the game to death? I was reading a book when it mentioned the World's Largest Ball of Twine, at first I was shocked and thought "Wait, is this book making a Sam & Max reference?", so I googled it and: -There are several "Largest Balls of Twine in America" -Gator Golf is real.... -The Mystery Vortex. -So many Frog Rocks.... -Of course Bumpusville is Graceland -I didn't manage to find the equivalent of Savage Jungle Inn, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an inn run by a forgotten celebrity, perhaps the actual American people people would know better? Alas, the Mount Rushmore Dinosaur Tarpit and Bungee Jumping National Park and the Celebrity Vegetable Museum don't seem to be real... yet! America seems like a crazy, beautiful and terrifying place. I always thought the game was making fun of roadside attractions and tourist traps, but it seems using real attractions only makes the game more hilarious? I kinda want to visit America and see these crazy things for myself now...
  14. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

All I remember for now is that money will be a problem, unless you do a certain thing that will gain you a lot of money.
  15. Sam & Max Hit the Road's attractions are real?

Built by the druid sages of Örmageddon!
  16. Sam & Max Hit the Road's attractions are real?

So... it's Southern American cuisine? Is that gumbo and stuff like that?
  17. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I'm almost positive I caught mine on top of the waterfall? Speaking of things you'll won't be able to catch, I managed to catch and extra violin bug if anybody cares.
  18. Recently completed video games

Did it feel as pandering as the first Zeboyd game? The Sci-fi level was almost painful with it's pandering. :|
  19. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

EDIT EDIT: Nevermind, it stopped raining and I caught one! HUZZAH! OK, I'm an idiot and hit "quote" instead of edit and furthermore I can't find a "delete post" button.
  20. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

I own a ridiculous amount of indie games, thanks to all the indie bundles, but that's about it.
  21. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Animal Crossing? You can drown your village in tulips if you like and time passes in real time.
  22. Sam & Max Hit the Road's attractions are real?

What on Earth is a Cracker Barrel? But I think I get what you mean, as a Spaniard, I don't understand other's fascination with castles that much. They are pretty common here.
  23. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

Yeah, I think you should keep the Universal Hint System close to you, since it only gives hints, it's not the same as using a walkthrough. Although, like Syntheticgerbil said, this almost worst than a Siera game, I would definitely understand if you used a walkthough from the start.
  24. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Whoa, whoa, don't you dare compare Harvest Moon to Farmville just because they both have farming and a energy system. Harvest Moon NEEDS an energy system or else you'll be able to do too much per day and you'll complete your goal way before your time limit, Farmville make thing inconvenient to make you spend money in it, in Harvest Moon there is only the energy system and weather... And you can get berries that increase your stamina and build a greenhouse to protect them from the weather. Jesus, this is like saying you can't play Mario games anymore because of those terrible iOS clones.
  25. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Guys, I just discovered something... I just got the silver shovel and had no idea what it could do and... Remember the money rock? I hit it with the shovel and it spat out ORE! I don't know if this will happen every time, but that's pretty awesome. I know there are programs that let you take an image from the net and turn into the format you need for Animal Crossing, but even though I can make pixel art on my own, it's just so inconvenient to it with the 3DS's tiny touch pen. Are people just that patient or do they have a program that can just dump an image into a QR code? Today is the last day to catch the Violin Beetle, I messed up yesterday because I didn't know it only appeared during the day, so I'll be playing for a while today. I'm pretty sure I'll have time to open the gates or visit someone else, but I think I pick all my fruit clean? I don't know if anything grows today. I do believe I have an extra Master Sword though. EDIT: OK, this is the last day to catch the violin beetle and it's still raining in my town... I won't be able to catch one this way! Does anybody have their town in a sunny day? Or could you catch one for me? I tried the island but it seems it's always June-August there, so I could catch the Longhorn Beetle.
