  1. What software do you use to make a trailer?

OK, this is getting silly... I managed to record 30 secs of footage with Fraps and it actually looks GREAT, but when I open in a video editor or upload it to YouTube, it looks blurry again. This is weird, with Windows Player it looks great, but everywhere else...
  2. What software do you use to make a trailer?

I'll try to figure out the editing myself, I just can't seem get the recording to not look blurry.
  3. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

Oh dear.... Why did I watch this trailer? I think I regret KSing this game...
  4. DuckTales Remastered?! WOOHOO!

So... WayForward is making a remastered version of the NES Ducktales games... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6N0PzqF9gWY How awesome is that? WayForward gets to remake an awesome game and we get to play it again, it's a win-win! And it's WayForward, if it's one this they excel at it's old school styled 2D games! HUZZAH!
  5. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I guess I'm still in Squeenix mood, but I think I'm quitting Parasite Eve II, it's just not as enjoyable as the first one. I loved the first game so much I did the bloody SEVENTY FLOOR extra dungeon! This game tries to be more survival horror but still has RPG elements and I simply don't like how they mix. I remember why I quit so many years ago, because you have tank controls and have to dodge charging enemies.... But I stubbornly continued and only quit when I met some slime that silenced me... and can only be defeated with magic... Not to mention than when I looked up how to beat them, I realized I wasn't even halfway through the game. I replayed PE I several times in a row, but I can't be bothered to continue. All the changes they made make it more annoying than anything else.

I just beat Khimera: Destroy All Monster Girls, a "Mega-Brawl-Vania", where a khimera girl fight Mega Man-like bosses in a brawler style and uses their powers to unlock secret areas.... Did I mention one of the bosses is a PIZZA slime girl? The game is so good I feel BAD that it's free on Steam.
  7. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Has anybody tried Mini-Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge? At first I thought it was some sort of demo version, but it seems to be a full game. I found it pretty charming even though there is a point were you can't progress without more amiibo. Each amiibo from Mario games has it's own small world that you can only access which the right amiibo. After playing a bit of Runbow and Swords & Soldiers II, I play this game and frankly like it more than those too combined.

Wow, Bakuon! started as such a cute series about a bike club, when suddenly.... It went FULL ECCHI! The previous episode had "the bath scene", but the latest episode has them being disrobed by a drunken teacher, but to top it off they end the episode with the girl cleaning their bikes in bikinis... But it doesn't end there, the protagonist suddenly decided to clean her bike with her breasts.... *facepalm*

Each button corresponds to which area you can attack and when you continuously attack the same area they will lose what ever they have equipped in that area, which you can take if you want to. If you're desperate enough and don't have a weapon you can bash them with the scattered pieces of armor. There is a stamina meter so you just don't spam special attack than you learn from using each "style" of combat.

I recently beat Affordable Space Adventures from the recent Humble Nintendo Bundle and it was pretty amazing. I haven't enjoyed a puzzle so much since The Talos Principle. You're a tiny space ship stranded on a planet and the WiiU controller is the ship's control panel. As you progress, the ship slowly repairs itself and more systems are online, like an engine that runs on electricity instead of a combustion one. The levels have turrets or similar that react to specific amounts of noise, heat or electricity and the puzzles are based on toggling systems on and off to find a solution. You eventually can even change your landing gear so that it can stick to a wall or slide. It gave me quite a few moments that gave me the "OH, AM I SO CLEVER!" moments, which I love in puzzle games.
  11. Nintendo 3DS

Does anybody know which SD cards (Europe?) work for the 3DS? This recent bundle barely fits in my SD card. Would getting one from a dollar store be a REALLY bad idea?

I finally finished Gladiator Begins, an old PSP fighting game where depending on which gladiator patron you fight for, you can unlock story lines for each. One patron was asking me to kill her ex-lover gladiators, while another is the daughter of a great general who goes MIA all of the sudden. This was the story line I followed and I really enjoyed when I had to protect her from hired thugs in an alley and I had to equip myself with whatever was lying around. A chair becomes an improvised shield and so on. Suddenly the emperor's son asked me for a special mission and led me down a completely different path and I never saw the coliseum again. I might try to other paths since my equipment carries over and see if I can simply play in the coliseum until I pay for my freedom?

I beat Axiom Verge on the Vita, I did not expect a vania to have so many button it need to add FOUR on the touch screen. The pixel art is amazing and I liked how the drone gives a fresh feel to the game and how you eventually have to combine several powers at the same time to reach some places, but some places are just too complex for me to bother. The "secret world" is a great thing since it's unique and random for each game. You could say this is the line of "like X only better" (As in Undertale is like Mother only better), but I'm kinda torn. It seems overly complex for no reason and the game even includes moments where you can translate alien language... manually. Not too mention it has TOO MANY weapons, I know it sounds crazy, but it has so many that so many of them are not needed and never used. The fact that non are essential to solve any puzzles is a bit of a bummer too, well ONE is, the one you get at the start, but soon you'll never need to use it again. In so many aspects it's flawless, but in others it just doesn't feel right, I guess what I'm saying that no, it's not better than Super Metroid to me, but it's still pretty amazing?
  14. Undertale - No need to kill things, even if they try kill you

I must be truly blessed, since the worst I've seen is a big breasted CLOATHED Toriel?
  15. Humble Monthly Bundle

I stopped too, but it seems that if you visit sites that EpicBundle fans (a site that tracks deals and indie bundles) someone figure out what games will come out before the time is over?
  16. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Is there at least I point I should try to reach in the game? The spell siphoning is a hassle for sure, many enemies seem to have "Cure", but it's really annoying trying to get a specific attack spell. The few games I played of Triple Triad were fun, I somehow got a Biggs and Wedge card from the gate card and didn't play again because I couldn't find a save point. EDIT: The Steam version seems to have the option to make all the stuff I hate go away, so maybe one day I'll just get that version?

I'm trying to give Final Fantasy 8 another chance and while stomaching Squall is a challenging, the combat seems WAY too slow with all the summoning and such. I'm at the part right after you escape a robot that chases you at the start of the game and I'm not sure if I care to continue.

I beat ShütShïmï, a shmup with a very interesting twist. For starters, it's divided in very shorts waves with a "store" between waves. The store mechanic is what makes the game interesting, you HAVE to choose one one and it not always clear what they do and many actually make the game harder. While at the first waves the store will be very obvious, the description will change over time and you have a very short time limit. Even if you memorize what each power up does, since it's random what you'll get you might just have to choose the lesser of three evils some times. You might have to play a level without friction or floating constantly upwards, but if you're lucky you'll get double fire power. The game also has hat power ups, some will make certain weapons more powerful, while some will make certain enemies ignore you. It was a pretty fun and intense game as the game become more frantic and difficulty. I got it with this month PS+ and it was quite the delightful surprise!
  19. Stardew Valley

Eventually even the area AFTER you finish the mine will be a cakewalk.... if you bring bombs that is.
  20. Stardew Valley

Are you bringing food or forage to survive longer in the mines? Maybe you could buy a new weapon or boots? The ones I got from chest and drops were good enough for me, so maybe I was lucky?
  21. Stardew Valley

The horrible cooking system makes getting hearts up annoying, most of their favorite dishes can be only gotten by getting someone else to level SEVEN! By the time I got the evaluation I could even afford to give away precious jewels, so the cooking wasn't needed as much... Although it seems all adults like coffee?
  22. Undertale - No need to kill things, even if they try kill you

    Speaking of Alphys...
  23. Android Games

I was actually getting a bit hooked on Pokémon Shuffle Mobile... until I realized it was draining my batteries faster than I could charge it. I also found out that the most obscure adventure game from my country is now on Droid and it's now called "Dreamtripper". Which was a really big surprise since I was having a hard time proving the game even existed!
